The company has created an inhouse executive search team, with Executive Talent Acquisition Partners and Executive Sourcers. Zalando is looking for a Senior Executive Talent Acquisition Partner. This is a senior position that will have ownership on the Commercial and Central Functions. There will be a close collaboration with the highest level of the organisation to identify and engage with the senior leaders of tomorrow and to take Zalando to the next level.

  • Develop recruitment strategies to proactively search for a diverse pool of top industry talent using various recruiting methods (direct sourcing, internal recruitment, web-based, print media, social media, etc.)
  • Lead and drive the end-to-end selection process (sourcing, screening, (phone) interviews, offers, negotiations) and make hiring decisions together with Senior Management. You feel comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders and being their sparring partner in all aspects related to recruiting, also not afraid to challenge decisions
  • Create customized search strategies, build pipelines, and source executive candidates for open and future roles
  • Build, Maintain and Engage a prospective network of executive-level candidate pools
  • Build an exceptional candidate-centric recruitment process and continuously optimize the process
  • Demonstrate ability to influence senior management and gain alignment on candidate calibration. Can source, network and close top, executive level talent
  • Provide guidance, training, expertise, and resources on strategic sourcing and recruiting tactics to the recruiting team
  • Engage in various projects together with the team to raise the bar of Executive Talent Acquisition
  • Highlights trends and themes discovered by working with clients, talking to candidates and staying on top of market trends
  • Collaborate to identify key metrics to measure ROI, influence future decisions and resource allocation; leverage these metrics to monitor and ensure customer and candidate satisfaction
  • Gain a strong knowledge of Zalando markets and plans to understand current and future requirements
  • You have end-to-end executive recruitment experience, a proven track record of hiring senior profiles and successful collaboration with diverse hiring managers up to C- level.
  • You have a strong track record of making executive-level hires in a corporate or executive agency environment
  • You have developed expert knowledge within your functional area of responsibility (i.e. Sales, Marketing, General Management and Corporate Functions).
  • You have very strong stakeholder management skills and an a proficient approach to the use of recruiting indicators
  • You can balance of creativity, focus, and determination to deliver an outstanding candidate experience and continuously raise the bar of our recruitment efforts
  • You have experience in leadership, direction and mentorship to ancillary recruiting resources (contract, vendor or agency)
