Job Overview:

The Inventory Integrity Analyst is responsible for leveraging analytics, making decisions, and leading processes to ensure item
file integrity throughout the Bloomingdales network. This role will require independent, strategic thinking to maximize item availability by
initiating various store and COM transfers, leveraging store cycle counts, and participating in financial inventories. The Analyst will collaborate
with store teams and Merchants to investigate and resolve shortage callouts, impacting available to sell and financial shortage for
stores/company. This role also requires strong communication skills and the ability to work with a multitude of levels within the organization.

Essential Functions:
• Manage the weekly "chit compliance" report and communicate results to store population. Analyze lower compliance stores and businesses
and develop strategies to reduce shortage risk and increase profitability. Influence store behavior by evaluating opportunities in compliance
across divisions to ensure movement of goods and productive merchandise.
• Lead the Fine Jewelry weekly count process for stores. Draw on shortage data to decide what units should be counted and communicate to
store leadership. Provide high level recap of results to stores and Trade Area leadership. Use analysis to infer cause of shortages. Partner
with Asset Protection and/or Operations to resolve, mitigating future loss.
• Analyze vendor shortage results and work with the Planning team to ensure high risk merchandise is transferred to congruent locations,
leveraging past shortage results to determine item movement. Ensure compliance through partnership and influence with stores.
• Oversee the item movement of Buyer-initiated transfers by monitoring transfer status using Bloomingdale's systems to ensure an accurate
inventory file. Proactively communicate transfer issues to stores and work with the Tech team to close aged transfers. Support the
Merchant team in resolving transfer issues by understanding system restrictions and keying guidelines.
• Manage the Cross Divisional Transfer process for both .COM and stores to outlets to maximize store and outlet profitability. Make
recommendations on process improvement to increase efficiency. Review item movement to ensure cartons and units move seamlessly
through proper channels. Analyze transfers from store locations versus .COM and provide recap for merchants with recommendations for
improving productivity. Balance and maintain Pool stock location item accuracy, so merchandise is available to be released to stores.
• Investigate item integrity callouts reported from stores. Leverage decision making to prioritize investigating and addressing concerns by
identifying issues that will have the most significant impact on potential shortage risks. Strategize with partners to enhance controls where
necessary. Respond to stores and communicate findings and actionable items.
• Support the Financial Inventory process, as well as monthly cycle counts and interim inventories. Leverage analytics to identify where item
movement may have impacted results. Make recommendations on improving accuracy and efficiency for future inventories.

Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
1-2 years related experience
• Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise
manner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable interacting with all levels of the company
• Highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to multitask, prioritize workload and work in a fast-paced environment
• Access and PowerPoint skills required. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (v-lookups, pivots). Knowledge of SQL

Requirements:
• Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing
• Occasionally requires walking, bending, reaching, hearing, and talking
• Continuous use of computers and other office equipment
• Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
