POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Director, Global Marketing, Fragrance, supports the SVP, Global Licensed Marketing and partners with the Fragrance License (COTY) on a day-to-day basis to implement all consumer first marketing efforts for Calvin Klein Fragrance. They will be responsible for collaboration on 360 Go-To-Market Campaigns while leveraging insights that take our Brand to the next level. They will work with COTY to identify distinct omni-channel opportunities and cross-channel promotions at pivotal moments to engage, acquire and retain our consumers across both the Global and Regional level. Must be an effective leader, champion of the Brand and consistent in approach to ensure marketing programs are successful, metrics-driven, goal-oriented and true to the Calvin Klein Brand. In addition to COTY, this position will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, cross-lines of business, regional teams and external partners on all global + local fragrance initiatives to execute Brand strategies and deliver commercial results while maintaining Brand standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
  • Manages all Brand related elements of the 3YR Fragrance Launch Calendar / Go-To-Market activity, from strategic reviews and briefings, to execution, including: primary + secondary packaging, global campaigns, line extensions, limited editions, collaborations and key consumption period / promos.
  • Works closely with the in-house creative team to ensure all fragrance messaging follows the Brand vision and is delivered with excellence, based on Calvin Klein and COTY business priorities. Accountable for measuring results and exploring ways to improve KPI's.
  • Maintains a key role as point person to our COTY partner, ensuring execution of programs meet strategic business needs, while aligning with Brand standards.
  • Responsible for oversight of production and internal related expenses and timelines - review and submission to COTY with proactive accountability for revisions and updates as required.
  • Partners with COTY to develop customized promotions/in store executions, VM and retail attainment, based on specific retailer and Owned + Operated needs.
  • Recommends Calvin Klein cross-branding initiatives where and when appropriate for fragrance.
  • Updates Senior Management on all fragrance related project and initiatives throughout the process - key milestones, reviews, decisions, changes and communicate back to COTY for alignment.
  • In depth knowledge of the Fragrance industry, environment and key players. Coordinating competitive reviews, with the team, tracking note-worthy launches and new/innovative ways to Go-To-Market.
  • Proactively ensures integrated decision-making occurs by involving key stakeholders throughout the fragrance marketing and content creation process.
  • Develops strong internal and external relationships through management of COTY and third party vendors.
  • Instills a team culture that upholds PVH values and visions and actively foster a positive working environment within the Team.
  • Owns weekly, bi-monthly, monthly and quarterly fragrance meetings with cross-function, regional marketing and Coty teams.
  • Oversight of Coty launch calendar, ensuring communication on a day to day or monthly basis and updates on any changes to internal and regional teams.
  • Responsible for development of various presentations and internal / external communication related to Fragrance.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:
  • 9-11 years marketing experience, preferably in global fragrance, fashion and/or Agency.
  • Demonstrated experience with Brand marketing, account management and licensed business model.
  • Understanding of, and ability to communicate the Calvin Klein brand aesthetic.
Education:
  • BA in marketing/communications/business/liberal arts
