The primary objective of the Director, Enterprise Business Process Optimization is to lead the analysis and optimization of PVH business processes in order to improve the overall business performance of the organization. This new role will strengthen the value proposition of the Global Business Process & Transformation team building an industry-leading Business Process Modelling & Optimization capability that PVH brands, regions, & functions can leverage to increase process effectiveness and efficiencies.

The role will focus on evolving PVH's Business Process Management (BPM) practice and capabilities in following key areas:
  • Establish & oversee Enterprise Business Process Architecture & link to strategic objectives
  • Define & govern Enterprise Business Process Management (BPM) methods, standards, & tools
  • Lead implementation of Business Process Management (BPM) platform to drive efficiencies in team's ways of working and deliver modelling & automation capabilities
  • Drive identification of Business Process Optimization & Automation opportunities and provide services to support initiatives
  • Institute development Value Delivery mindset & approach to delivery of Business Process Optimization projects

This leader will support the success of the organization by working to create and foster a Process Excellence practice and culture that translates strategic intent to predictable execution to add business value, reduce complexity, and drive competitive advantage. PVH seeks a true change agent who can elevate the Business Process Management (BPM) practice to the next level in a rapidly changing environment.

This pivotal role will have significant leadership impact on advancing the optimization of PVH's Enterprise Processes & Capabilities across brands, regions, & functions. It requires a leader with a broad understanding of End to End Business Processes, a strong Business Process acumen, demonstrated ability to drive process outcomes that deliver value, and significant ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at multiple levels in the organization to align on forward thinking improvement opportunities.

This role will also provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to Enterprise & Regional Business Process teams and work seamlessly with these teams to optimize Enterprise business process performance and deliver tangible ROI/business value for PVH.
  • Serve as a trusted Business Process Management (BPM) thought leader and partner to model out the Enterprise end-to-end processes to better enable transparency, optimization efforts, proper oversight, and governance
  • Create & design an Enterprise Business Process Framework that defines PVH's process landscape & hierarchies, classifies & defines business processes, links processes to strategic objectives, and defines levels of detail and decomposition to ensure consistency
  • Elevate PVH's Business Process Management (BPM) practices, capabilities, and competencies to drive value at an enterprise level; spans Process Discovery, Process Modelling & Analysis, Business Rules & Decision Management, Process Monitoring & Optimization, and Process & Decision Automation
  • Establish & govern PVH's Enterprise Business Process Management (BPM) standards to guide process teams and ensure consistent execution of process discovery, process modelling, and future state workflow design services and development of process assets
  • Design & execute Business Process Management (BPM) methodologies to analyze and identify opportunities to improve processes, practices and procedures, uncovering opportunity for innovation and efficiencies
  • Lead design, implementation, & adoption of a Business Process Management (BPM) platform to enable business process standards, drive efficiencies in BPM team's ways of working, promote transparency of business processes with business stakeholders, & deliver process modelling & automation capabilities
  • Oversee & govern the development PVH's Enterprise Business Process repository ensuring continuous usage and updates across the organization for easy access, reuse, & analysis
  • Direct teams in the analysis & optimization of PVH's End to End Business Processes to identify inefficiencies/gaps/opportunities and recommend improvements/innovations (including automation opportunities) that provide competitive advantage, increase operational efficiencies & effectiveness, and improve customer service (internal and external)
  • Advise business stakeholders on benefits and cost savings that could be realized by applying Process & Decision & Automation to optimize their end to end business processes and partner with them to evaluate/use cases, define business case/ROI, and drive adoption
  • Institute a Value Delivery mindset and approach to Business Process Optimization projects with focus on value analysis/definition and business case for improvements, as well as development of measurements to track and validate realization of benefits/outcomes
  • Manage Enterprise Portfolio of Business Process Optimization projects and services centered on optimizing efficiencies, reducing cycle times, and ensuring quality of the product or service the process delivers
  • Coach & guide Enterprise & Regional Business Process teams in applying Process Excellence techniques (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping) to identify areas for improvement and chair Community of Practice to facilitate exchange of best practices and learnings
  • Maintain a pulse on Business Process Management (BPM) leading practices & trends that can be applied to evolve PVH's BPM practice

Experience

- 10+ years operational and/or management consulting experience in Business Process Management or Operational Excellence driving strategic and operational process optimization and improvements

- Apparel or consumer products company experience preferred, especially a fast-moving, multi-channel consumer goods business

- Broad understanding of end to end business processes spanning Planning, Product Go To Market, Supply Chain, Sales, & Finance

- Proven experience leading process analysis, process mapping, process redesign, & process optimization efforts to deliver tangible value and business results

- Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) platform and process modelling tools preferred; Robotic Process Automation a plus

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or other relevant Business degree.

- MBA a plus.

- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred

- Experience in APQC (American Productivity & Quality Center) or other process classification frameworks a plus

  • Strong process management foundation (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping) and demonstrated ability to mobilize these skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and easily works in cross-functional matrix teams. Demonstrated ability to manage and influence a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills to identify & present gaps with recommendations and plan to drive improvements.
  • Ability to present complex processes in easy to understand terms to various cross functional stakeholders to receive approval and prioritization
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, both large and small, with competing due dates and present status to management
  • Expert facilitator who drives closure and aligned decision making
