Job Details

Assisting and reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Copywriter & Marketing Executive is a key role within the DeMellier team that will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to have a direct impact on the development of the brand and to develop and execute the copywriting and marketing strategy for a growing designer fashion brand.

Key responsibilities:

Copywriting (Communications & Social Media)

  • Create content & copywriting for all Marketing & Communications collaterals: newsletters (3 times a week), website blog articles, product description, etc. Write high-engagement social media organic content that reflects the brand voice Execute and maintain the brand’s organic social media posting strategy and keep up to date with the social media scene, best practices, new platforms etc. Re-writing and updating information on website, editing, and proofreading texts. Write, create, and share press releases with the help of the Head of Marketing and Graphic Design team

Marketing & PR

  • Identify and manage seeding and gifting efforts to celebrities and influencers Build and maintain relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors Be the primary point of contact for PR and celebrity agencies (UK & US) and manage them to maximize the brand’s visibility Be the primary in-house PR contact for US Press and some International Press and Editors Together with the Press Assistant and Wholesale Coordinator, manage samples’ allocation and tracking, coordinating with Design, Creative teams, external press agencies and with Logistics partners. Manage and coordinate brand events

Reporting & Analysis

  • Assist the Head of Marketing in developing DeMellier’s marketing and communications strategy by preparing regular analyses and reports (weekly, monthly and ad hoc) Help the Head of Marketing with ad hoc Marketing research and benchmarks.

Branding

  • Work closely with Creative & Graphic Design team to maintain brand assets and imagery database Work with Production and Head of Marketing to select products for photoshoots to use across marketing collaterals Be the link between the Marketing and Creative teams, working with both departments on delivering relevant imagery and assets

The ideal candidate:

  • Degree in Business, PR, Fashion Management or similar A minimum of 5 years of Copywriter & Marketing / Digital experience, ideally for E-Com / Fashion / Accessories / Luxury brand Excellent oral and written communications skills, Native English Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint) & the Google suite A true team player, comfortable working in a small structure and with a “can do” attitude Very strong attention to detail Eager to learn and take part in the growth of a fast-paced brand
