Job Title: Buyer - Full Price RTW, Footwear, Sleep, Swim and Fashion Accessories
Primary Purpose: build and execute a unique product strategy that meets and/or exceeds financial goals across apparel, footwear & fashion accessories for the omni full price direct to consumer business
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in buying to...
- responsible for driving sales and achieving financial goals for individual categories
- analyzing sales and inventory weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly and identify risks and opportunities within the assortment
- work in close partnership with global merchandising on line development to ensure business needs are met
- manage open-to-buy and markdown/promotional approach to ensure achievement of sales, margin and turn targets
- focus on future of business by identifying market trends and assortment opportunities
- drive discussions with the planning team regarding buying strategy
- edit and assort line during market. Architect sku plan to meet financial goals
- strategize key items, promotions, and markdowns
- liaise with production team to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
- partner with digital merchandising, visual merchandising, marketing, and stores leadership to execute buy strategies across ecommerce and stores channels
- gather qualitative feedback on product, customers, & competition to identify assortment opportunities
- present in weekly business review and key pre-season and in-season milestone meetings
- communicate professionally with external vendors regarding purchase orders, inventory tracking, chase receipts and end of life product solutions
