Neiman Marcus Group (NMG) within the analytics team is looking for a smart, hands on, and driven manager to grow Bergdorf Goodman's mobile app capabilities. This role will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager, Product (Website + App) for Bergdorf Goodman.

This person will have experience with mobile app reporting more specifically, will be the subject matter expert for the organization when it comes to mobile app analytics - what we need to track, how to track it, where to report out on it. The candidate will understand the distinction in performance reporting when it comes to app vs website including performance marketing and conversion funnel. Other types of data could include mobile app store insights, quality/experience-based metrics and 3rd party reviews.

This is a remote position.

Key Performance Elements/Responsibilities:
  • Identify mobile app key performance indicators (KPIs) and integrate into Bergdorf Goodman's analytics culture, including tagging, dashboards, and analytics
  • Provide app reporting including the ability to view the website and app in the same Adobe Analytics reporting suite
  • Create an app quality scorecard, and provide measurements both on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and quarterly basis
  • Develop Bergdorf Goodman app reporting, including installs, engagement metrics, device, and mobile messaging
  • Accelerate acquisition of high-quality new digital customers though personalization enhancements, micro segmentation reporting, and work with and optimize data science models
  • Develop an app performance marketing strategy, managing new customer by device and program, AOV, and re-shop rate (both via the app and across channels)
  • Build integrated service ecosystem across the app, as well as the implementation of a digital asset management tool.

Minimum Entry Education and Experience:
  • 4-year Degree, preferably in a quantitative or technical subject such as in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 4+ years of experience working in working in mobile app analytics or other related analytical capacities
  • 4+ years of experience using web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar
  • Hands on experience using any coding language (SQL, SAS, Python or R) to transform, manipulate and analyze data preferred
  • Experience using data visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Retail experience preferred with specific knowledge of retail apps

  • Ability to improve analytics maturity and drive the adoption of data driven decision across Bergdorf Goodman
  • Ability to effectively partner with cross functional teams across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work autonomously with minimal supervision under tight timelines and with quick turnarounds as needed

  • High-level business acumen, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to effectively present analytics data to business users
