The Kering Americas organization supports ~5,000 employees belonging to 12 different European luxury houses, located across 5 countries in North & South America.

The Group is investing in a new role, Director of Total Rewards COE, responsible for maturing the region's practices in designing, implementing, governing, and managing the performance and costs of the Group's total rewards programs. The role's primary focus will center on benefits and wellness programs in North and South America with exposure to broad and incentive-based compensation projects.

  • Serve as the regional subject-matter expert "SME" on all benefit/pension/wellness matters for market(s) of responsibility.
  • Assist in the development of benefits strategy and guiding principles
  • Ensuring plan designs are aligned with business strategy, company objectives and Group's commitment to sustainability and inclusion and diversity
  • Develops annual budget and forecast assumptions for all plans and monitors and communicates expense variances to internal stakeholders
  • Develops project roadmap for total rewards initiatives, aligned to priorities of Brand stakeholders
  • Assesses the financial impact and performance of existing and proposed programs
  • Regularly analyzes competitive practice in market(s) of responsibility
  • Defines regional governance model for all programs, taking into consideration stakeholder input from the Group's Global Compensation and Benefits COE and local Brand HR and Finance teams.
  • Manages program compliance and regulatory considerations
  • Manages benefits-related projects and partnering with the regional HR Shared Services teams to design and monitor SLA's of processes to administer benefits and programs
  • Manages vendor and broker relationships and performance; drive initiative to replace and/or introduce new partners to support
  • Manages benefits-related escalations from HR Shared Services, HRBPs, and senior leaders for respective markets
  • Oversight of all AMER benefits and retirement programs, policies, and market competitive reviews
  • Manages compliance and governance of all benefit and pension plans (including participating/driving local Committee meetings, assume Fiduciary responsibility, where needed.
  • Develops and deploys Benefits and Wellness communication and education plans to support onboarding, open enrollment windows, and on-going awareness of total rewards programs
  • Uses analytics to support benefit planning decisions on a regional and enterprise level and conducts benchmark benefits reviews routinely
  • Continuously monitors worldwide economics, politics and legislation to anticipate employee benefit impact and ensure Kering America's plans are compliant
  • Recommends and helps to implement process improvements for efficient and streamlined benefits delivery and positive employee experience. Partners very closely with HR Shared Services to ensure benefits operations is aligned with benefit design and strategy
  • Assists with M&A activities as needed
  • Supports projects in regional compensation roadmap, including evaluation of job architectures, development of pay policies and structures, salary survey participation, and incentive plans
  • Partner closely with various internal stakeholders including Global Total Rewards COE counterparts, local market leaders, human resources, HR Shared Services, finance/tax, legal, and procurement.

  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of progressively responsible positions in benefits, preferably some exposure to international benefits programs and administration.
  • North & South America / global benefit design experience
  • Experience with a full array of benefits programs including retirement plans, medical plans, life, AD&D, disability plans, Paid Time Off, work/life benefits, recognition and benefit allowances
  • Experience in analyzing competitive benefit practices. Solid technical knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of general HR principles and policies
  • Ability to lead project teams from the design to the implementation stage
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and Shared Service environment a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Experience with desk tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and in general, Microsoft Office.
