THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As Senior Business Development Manager, you seize growth opportunities for Fashion Brands in the Women's Category by strategically estimating market opportunities, setting up and managing cross-functional projects, exploring innovative solutions and optimizing business processes. You are responsible for actively driving the development of our Women Category strategy and spot opportunities to address customer and business needs (especially towards commercial growth opportunities) in the Women Category.

WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED
  • Using data to identify growth opportunities for our Women's assortment: You will always put yourself into our female customers' shoes, conduct customer and market research, explore market potentials and define business cases for growth
  • Driving initiatives that contribute to the success of the Women fashion categories across all markets. Planning and management of work streams and stakeholders, to implementation and retrospective. You oversee the progress of all your projects in a structured way, present to various stakeholders and solve newly arising problems on-the-go.
  • Owning and supporting a range of projects, including one to focus on delighting our customers with a truly (size) inclusive assortment and inspire them with a fantastic shopping experience, whatever their size and shape. Fostering an inclusive & diverse work environment.
  • Enabling senior leadership's decision-making: You will be responsible for writing and presenting strategic papers and presentations for senior management. You keep it simple and approach problems and opportunities with a logical and pragmatic mindset and evaluate potential against costs to develop a clear rationale for decision making.
  • Building a network: You easily build up relations with large sets of (senior and operational) stakeholders across the company. You confidently steer large meetings towards a desired outcome, you collaborate with empathy to achieve the targets; and you communicate transparently to manage your projects to success.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
  • Degree in business studies and 5+ years of solid work experience in business development, merchandising, buying, management consulting or other commercial development positions in the fashion industry with a proven track record
  • Extensive experience in managing cross-functional projects and large sets of senior stakeholders. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong perseverance - you take ownership, work in a structured & independent manner and do not lose sight of your goals within complex topics.
  • Logical thinking and strong analytical skills, confident in working with numbers and data sets, capable of creating small business cases and applying a customer centric mindset
  • Excellent use of Google applications (docs, sheets). Ideally, experience with Microstrategy.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English, ability to efficiently deal with various stakeholders and senior management and maintaining good relationships within the company.
  • Experience promoting inclusive culture practices and processes that are models for others.
