Neiman Marcus Group (NMG) within the analytics team is looking for a smart, hands on, and driven Senior Manager to grow Bergdorf Goodman's product web and mobile app capabilities. This role will collaborate closely with the Director, Omnichannel Analytics for Bergdorf Goodman, providing technical vision, analytical support, and business support to shape Bergdorf Goodman's roadmap for the future.

The Senior Manager will be the subject matter expert in delivering best-in-class analytics aimed at understanding the Bergdorf Goodman customers through multiple channels and multiple areas, including product via website, mobile, and app, as well as marketing, operations, strategy, growth initiatives, and technology.

This is a remote position.

Key Performance Elements/Responsibilities:
  • Provide foundational product support for the website and the mobile app, utilizing reporting functionality, and developing Tableau product dashboards
  • Understand the digital product finding methods and how it supports seasonal planning, creating events over time to understand the longitudinal view
  • Analyze product navigation, taxonomy, landing pages, PDPs, and other major features. Provide recommendations based on KPIs and testing to optimize areas of the website and app
  • Participation in pre-release planning and recommendations for an approach within the test and learn framework
  • Create a weekly progress report detailing current work and its financial impact on Bergdorf Goodman's website and app. Manage weekly office hours to assist the Bergdorf Goodman team on analysis and recommendations
  • Perform formal impact analysis of checkout and other major features and provide detailed reports on the impact findings
  • Provide testing support for website and app releases, while establishing a digital experiment roadmap in partnership with the Bergdorf Goodman product team
  • Create and perform digital experiments for our testing platform (Optimizely) including implementation support
  • Act as subject matter for the organization when it comes to app analytics - what we need to track, how to track it, where to report out on it
  • Understand the distinction in performance reporting when it comes to website vs app including performance marketing and conversion funnel
  • Needs to be comfortable doing analysis across multiple data-sets and tools (not just web data in Adobe)
  • The ability to pair first party data with 3rd party/industry insights

Minimum Entry Education and Experience:
  • 4-year Degree, preferably in a quantitative or technical subject such as in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 6+ years of experience working in working in product web and app analytics or other related analytical capacities
  • 6+ years of experience using web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar
  • Hands on experience using any coding language (SQL, SAS, Python or R) to transform, manipulate and analyze data preferred
  • Experience using data visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Understanding of the test and learn framework
  • Extensive experience with mobile app reporting
  • Retail experience preferred

  • Demonstrate ability to build strong working relationships with Senior Executives, business leads, and key internal and external partners
  • Proven record of accomplishment of partnering with business leaders to develop business goals grounded in sound data assumptions, assess, and identify risk, explain performance beyond KPIs (Key Performance Indicator), and un-cover the data that helps business leaders drive the business
  • Ability to effectively prioritize initiatives and collaborate across teams with ability to work under tight timelines and with quick turnarounds as needed
  • Demonstrate strategic thought leadership and ability to improve analytics maturity and drive the adoption of data driven decision across Bergdorf Goodman
  • High-level business acumen, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to effectively present analytics data to business users
