Position Overview
The Senior Video Editing Associate is responsible for creating a productive environment for the Editing Lead by versioning and trafficking finished projects and liaising with the RL Library for archive and In-Store display vendors for distribution. Additionally, there are projects assigned for editing with guidance from creative teams and Editing Lead.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Assist editor with day-to-day tasks related to the edit suite, including; coordinating with the Post Production Producer and Operations for trafficking, assessing and organizing incoming materials.
* Responsible for logging, project set up and other various tasks
* Prepare sequences for color correct and sound mix
* Assist with versioning requests for projects (copy changes, cut downs, and re-cropping) to accommodate project delivery requirements as needed. For example, billboards, vertical screens and social media.
* Archive/media manage projects and drives as needed and communicate status with relevant RL Library contact.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Degree or experience in Digital Media and Video Editing
* Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically, Premiere, Media Encoder and Photoshop) After Effects experience a plus.
* Comfortable with video codecs, formats and terminology
* Must have great communication skills and be able to give and receive critical feedback in a small team environment
* Must be meticulous, technical, organized, and creative at the same time
* Ability to work independently and under close direction
* Experienced in deadline driven environment a plus
* Ability to shift gears and adapt to last minute changes and work well under pressure
* Must be resourceful and be able to trouble shoot and problem solve on the fly
