Who What Wear UK is looking to hire an Advertising Sales Director to join its award-winning culture. As the Advertising Sales Director you will manage a list of high volume, active and development accounts. You’ll be excited to take Who What Wear UK to the next level and develop sales strategies and creative solutions to find new revenue, evolve existing relationships and problem solve more challenging accounts across the sales team. To be successful in this role, you must be goal driven with a growth mindset. If you’re the ideal candidate, you are a digital specialist with experience working within high-end fashion, beauty, jewelry/watch and lifestyle media sales and affiliates. This position is located in London and reports to the SVP, UK.

Who What Wear is powered by a hybrid remote/ in-person workforce that spans the UK and US. Working here means that you get the benefits of working with the UK team both IRL at our London HQ and remotely. Our interviewing and onboarding activities are conducted both virtually and in the office. 

 

Key Duties:

  • Develop localized pipeline and sales strategies to grow the media sales business in this market and exceed goals.
  • Work closely with pre-sale teams to conceptualize and sell integrated advertising and sponsorship packages, which include branded content, social media, newsletter, Influencer opportunities, affiliate, podcast and experiential as well as direct and programmatic display media.
  • Engage, strategize and cultivate deep relationships with senior-level clients and agency members alongside strong internal collaborative relationships; locally with our edit/content and social team to share insight and help develop innovative content programming and internationally with our US commercial team to extract key insights, learnings and product offerings to bring to the UK.
  • Have a detailed focus on your clients needs, being timely in your responses, resolving client issues with 100% satisfaction alongside maintaining internal information and documents relating to your accounts.
  • Manage campaign deliverables as needed and interface with post-sale Client Services and Ad Operations teams to ensure campaign elements are launched, monitored and operating in accordance with our high standards as well as client expectations.
  • Day to day management and training of sellers (help with RFP’s, media plans, campaign delivery, troubleshooting, historical insights on accounts) and client services manager(s); including the development and execution of localized key team selling tactics, ideation of upselling opportunities, creation of pricing and tiered packages and broader insights plans required to convert revenue.

     

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 7-10 years of online ad sales experience in both agency and client-direct sales.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in selling integrated advertising packages including branded content, affiliates, social media, newsletter, Influencers, and experiential as well as direct and programmatic display media.
  • Strong history of exceeding aggressive monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quotas.
  • Deep relationships with decision makers for major online advertisers and online media buying agencies.
  • A creative, collaborative and can-do attitude for a fast paced, high-growth fashion-tech business.
