IT Project Manager, Enterprise Applications

Job Description :

The IT Project Manager - Enterprise Applications is responsible for managing projects / programs of varying size and complexity from initiation through completion across cross-functional project teams. Using best practices and project management methodology as a guide, the PMO Project Manager coordinates project initiation activities, leads project planning, execution, and closure activities of the approved project while providing on-going monitoring and reporting of project progress.

Responsibilities :
  • Manages the day-to-day aspects of a project to deliver high-quality, on time, on budget outcomes within the project scope.
  • Coordinates the identification and planning of all project work streams, including working with each functional manager to plan work product schedules, identify key milestones, manage dependencies, identify, track and manage risks/issues/decisions, and report on project progress.
  • Leads and oversees the identification, execution, and updating of project timelines, tasks/responsibilities, and deliverables.
  • Works with project team to identify project risks and mitigation plans, resolve issues, and eliminate project challenges.
  • Ensures compliance with SDM model which includes delivery of all project book required documents.
  • Communicates clear, concise, and accurate project status and budget to all appropriate project stakeholders, including providing weekly status reports.
  • Coordinates and responds to project changes, including escalating project issues and decisions as needed.
  • Provides strong leadership capabilities to lead and direct project teams, leading team decision-making processes, and cultivating an environment of healthy team debate and collaboration.
  • Build project plans that blend Agile and Waterfall methodologies to align deliveries.
  • Manage 3rd party relationships and facilitates completion of contracted deliverables to specifications, budget and timeline.
  • May require budgeting or financial tracking in Oracle


Experience Guidelines :
  • Project management experience and knowledge of concepts and practices.
  • Over 10 years of IT Leadership experience.
  • Ability to lead, manage, coordinate, plan and deliver projects on-time, on-budget, on-scope with high quality.
  • Ability to create detailed project plan, identification of resource types both IT and Business.
  • Experience managing capital and expense budgets that include labor, hardware and software.
  • Experienced in use of project management tools and techniques.
  • Experience of all aspects of software project life cycles from requirements gathering, through design, development and implementation.
  • Excellent ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams (technical and business) and multiple levels of leadership is required.
  • Experience working with external consultants and vendors and managing a joint project plan.
  • Ability to plan and lead steering committee meetings with executive leadership reporting status and issues.
  • Experience managing vendor contract deliverables to ensure they are met and accepted.
  • Ability to demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems and technology organizations.
  • Experience developing and managing software, hardware and services contracts.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
