Still Life Stylist

Position Objective 

Responsible for styling flat still life and mannequin photography as a direct contributor to creating eCommerce photography for elysewalker.com. This position reports to the Studio Operations and Digital Content Manager and is responsible for ensuring the brand aesthetic is correctly translated in still-life photography to drive direct online sales. 

Key Areas of Responsibility 

• Create compelling product photography for elysewalker.com within established guidelines, paying close attention to composition and light, for ghost mannequin and tabletop still life styling
• Work closely with the Web Photographer and Studio Operations and Digital Content Manager during shoot to manage time and pace on set, focusing on meeting daily productivity goals
• Ensure product is being shot according to brand specifications
• Assist with daily production workflows including pre-production, set up and merchandise prep and pack up
• Assist with styling during social media shoots
• Manage and troubleshoot kit equipment, seek proper vendors for repair or replacement
• Ability to go between still life and/or on figure as determined by Studio Operations and Digital Content Manager, maintaining pose and professionalism in a multi-set environment

Required Skills 

• 3-5+ years of e-commerce product styling experience with exceptional styling, lighting, mannequin, and composition skills
• Detail oriented, with a problem-solving personality
• Multi-tasker, organized and able to change directions quickly
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Capture One and Global Edit a plus
• Comfortable with frequent standing 
• Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results 
• This position in based in Los Angeles working in our Culver City office
