As part of a growing department that drives and services all brand visual output, Scotch & Soda are looking for Junior Videographer Editor to join the Creative Services team. The role will be integral in working with the Senior Videographer/ Editor and the Creatives to create and deliver innovative and engaging short film and moving image content for our social media channels and internal platforms.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

The Junior Videographer is a story teller, who uses film and moving image to bring ideas to life. They will work closely with the Social Media Marketing team to create short form moving content for distribution across all social channels and will be responsible for the successful creation and delivery of film and moving image content from project briefing to asset release. They will be the gatekeeper of timings, process planning and progress of all responsible film projects alongside the Senior Videographer for the CS team. Some specific day-to-day responsibilities will include the below:
  • Work closely and align with the Senior Videographer, art director and stakeholders to create engaging short form, shareable moving image content
  • Create moodboards and story boards in the realisation of each brief and for approval by the CMO.
  • End to end delivery from brief, filming, editing to release of creative assets to stakeholders.
  • Deliver a cohesive visual aesthetic and identity for film and moving image content across the various platforms.
  • Support day to day video editing needs for stakeholders.
  • Provide photo editing and retouching support as needed.
  • Support in the filming, production of BTS shoots for Mainline Campaigns
  • Support in the filming, production and delivery of internal short film requests as required - such as new collection presentations, sustainability updates.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strong portfolio of stills and/or video content - Excellent on the craft and detail
  • High proficiency in Adobe creative suite with emphasis on Premiere and After Effects
  • Strong social media video capabilities
  • Demonstrated skills in photo editing/retouching
  • Creative, innovative and willing to contribute ideas and professional opinion
  • Innovative with an understanding of social media creative trends. Able to push ideas
  • Familiar with social media platforms, comfortable with best practices, asset specifications, restrictions and content guidelines
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environment with multiple projects, tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • Effective and efficient communication skills
  • Open minded with a sense of humour and fun
