The SMCP Group is a combination of two Contemporary Luxury Ready-To-Wear brands for Women / Men: Sandro + Maje. The North America business unit's corporate office has been located in NYC since 2011. Over the past 11 years, we have grown to over 168 points of distribution across the US + Canada in addition to our online business.

Our 6-month, paid Corporate Internship program is extremely robust which is based out of our NYC Corporate office. We are currently recruiting for our Fall 2022 Internship Program which begins in July. As an SMCP intern, you will reap the benefits of a comprehensive experience which will consist of 3 components: on the job training in the specific functional area; experience working in a Corporate business environment; and participation in a monthly professional development series to supplement the functional experience you will be receiving. At the end of the day, the SMCP Internship experience should provide you with a competitive edge in today's highly competitive job market.

We are seeking a passionate entrepreneur to support our Ecommerce Department. This is a paid internship beginning ASAP. It is a unique, hands-on opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing French retail group in the affordable luxury sector. This position will assist in the maintenance of the Sandro and Maje North American ecommerce websites; support CRM team in email marketing management and support our 3rd party customer service. The candidates must be available to work full-time.

What You'll Be Doing...
  • ECOMMERCE
    • Support maintenance of website including:
      • Catalog management
      • Product information check and update
      • Filters update and set up
      • Promotional clean ups
    • Web-merchandising assistance
      • Category set up and visual merchandising of products within categories
      • Work closely with the CRM team to create category selection
    • Perform and follow up store locators' updates (ecommerce, Google My business, Apple)
    • Assist in Websites testing:
      • Support website evolution by testing new features
      • Testing the website before code releases using different browsers and devices
      • Opening and resolving bug tickets and development requests

    CRM
    • Execute the North American newsletter calendar for Sandro Women, Sandro Men and Maje.
    • Copy writing, creative brief, translation coordination, tests, reporting.
    • Oversee development, testing and launching of all emails to ensure flawless execution and great customer experience.
    • Research and recommend email marketing opportunity, competitor benchmarking
    • Monitor campaign performance and make recommendations as needed
    • Execute AB Testing strategies, personalized CRM programs (welcome series,...)
    • Strengthen our customer database through data upload and data cleaning initiatives

    CUSTOMER SERVICE
    • Main point person for 3rd party customer service
    • Process exceptional customer service actions (refunds, apology gift, ...)
    • Identify key areas of improving customer service
    • Build new processes to improve customer experience and monitor execution by 3rd party service

    BUSINESS ANALYSIS
    • Assist with reporting needs across the department
    • Weekly reporting in excel on bestselling styles and categories

  • Ideally, work experience in ecommerce/crm with exposure to some HTML
  • A prior experience with Google Analytics and ESP, Selligent is a plus.
