Position Overview
The "Lead, Digital Strategy & Business Development" will develop and implement the global digital strategy to elevate and energize the brand and win in digital. They will work closely with the Commercial, Marketing, and Digital teams across the personalization, mobile optimization, connected retail, market expansion, home, virtual economies and other streams as created, to identify key digital trends and analyze business opportunities. They will evaluate and develop a portfolio of business opportunities, projects, and innovations that will drive the digitization of consumer-facing solutions and experiences. They will lead the Digital Strategy & Business Development team and report into to the Head of Digital & Tech Strategy and Portfolio.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Business Development
* Lead research and analyze market trends, competitive landscape & digital innovations to assist with the development of strategic plans and thought leadership materials
* Lead strategy sessions in partnership with Digital, Technology & Regional Commercial teams to develop a pipeline of initiatives

* Liaise with internal partners as well as outside consultants and service providers Project Management
* Implement new digital streams as determined
* Coordinate and manage the efforts of the cross-functional digital, technology, marketing and business working teams to ensure alignment on digital strategic priorities Strategic Projects
* Identify and support "piloting" of various digital and high-impact initiatives
* Lead development of Digital Digest to be distributed across the organization
* Support Digital Streams Bi-monthly & Digital/Technology QGR meetings
* Support Investor Relations and Board of Directors activities and initiatives
* Work closely with colleagues across the company to identify opportunities to extend and enhance digital partnerships and platform capabilities
* Lead cross-functional and cross-brand strategic initiatives, actively managing and monitoring milestones
* Proactively identify actionable cost improvement opportunities and spearhead continuous improvement/cost savings initiatives
* Reporting
* Establish and monitor KPI's to measure success and identify/implement performance-based improvements and new strategic initiatives

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Minimum 5 years of experience of related work in personalization, mobile optimization, connected retail, market expansion, home or virtual economies (cryptocurrency, NFT's, virtual land)
* Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop winning partnerships across Regional Commercial, Digital, Product, and Technology and Procurement teams
* Driving and facilitating best in class Digital strategy
* Knowledgeable of industry trends and is interested in the evolving consumer landscape
* Understand competitive landscape with deep understanding of competitors & emerging thought leaders
* Leverage industry experts and associations to identify and benchmark best practices
* Accountable for digital commerce analysis with overarching view of key metrics and KPI's
* Strong understanding of consumer behavior
* Deliver frameworks, guidelines, and standards to create consistency across all channels
* Financial acumen, with ability to manage financial portfolio on cashflow or P&L basis
* Exceptional skill in driving results against aggressive timelines, managing multiple priorities and executing flawlessly
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to formally present to and work with stakeholders across different functions, colleagues at all levels, and with partners
* A self-starter with an ability to excel in a dynamic, ever-changing environment and to switch gears as required
* Ruthless attention to detail & accuracy
* Ability to lead and manage a team
* Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote
* Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Engineering or Information Systems
