Copywriter

We're looking for an experienced Copywriter with a fashion industry background, to concept and create messaging for both marketing and brand assets. As guardian of the tone of voice, your words will bring our brand vision and values to life in a way that connects with existing communities and new audiences. Working closely with the copywriting team, as well as additional departments such as Creative Services, Ecommerce, CRM and Retail, you'll translate our brand and marketing objectives into clever and creative storytelling. This role reports into the Brand Content Director and sits within the Content team in the Marketing department, located at our beautiful, central office in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• Deliver copy across all consumer channels, including Ecommerce, CRM, Social, Retail and Paid Media, ensuring messaging is aligned and on-brand
• Work with Art Directors, Digital Designers and Print Designers in the Creative Services team to ensure consistency between visual and written creative
• Support the Communications department with editing and writing press releases
• Together with the wider team, support in the creation of seasonal sell-in tools, such as collection and fit guides
• Collaborate with the wider team to improve process and communication
• Pitch ideas for editorials
• Ad hoc copy requests

Essential skills

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in copywriting - experience in the fashion industry is a must
• Strong editorial sensibility
• Creatively minded and commercially aware
• Native-level English skills, with a meticulous focus on spelling and grammar
• An additional language - German or French - is preferred
• Comfortable switching writing styles for consumer and B2B audiences
• Outstanding communication and attention to detail to ensure consistent brand voice across all assets
• Ability to write swiftly and with ease, delivering effective copy with the right messaging hierarchy
• Turn restrictions in a brief to the brand's advantage with creativity and strong writing skills
• Prioritise multiple copy requests and execute assets of excellent quality for last-minute deadlines
• Positive attitude and a solution-driven thinker
• Self-starter who motivates team members to deliver excellence and highly organised
• Good understanding of SEO
• Preferably located in The Netherlands
