Accounts Receivable Specialist

Hilldun, a well-known name in the luxury space, is looking for a great accounts receivable specialist to join our awesome team!

Position Summary / Purpose

• Manages and monitors assigned accounts and ensures timely accounts receivable processing.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

• Collections, posting of credits and disputes for assigned accounts
• Complete projects assigned by the Executive Team
• Assist clients with collection updates
• Train new employees and assist management with supervising the collection team
• Service as a backup for the VP of Collections
• Monitor Chain store buybacks
• Assist Management with email correspondence 
• Reconciles the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Monitors various accounts trial balances daily
• Verifies, reconciles, and balances major department store accounts or as assigned by the VP of Collections
• Facilitates payment of invoices due by sending statement reminders and contacting customers
• Provides deductions / chargebacks research and resolutions
• Manages and maintains diversified accounts, including research and collection calls
• Communicates actively with clients to update on collections issues/problems encountered with debtors
• Communicates actively with debtors to receive update on payment status and account status for each client
• Notifies clients and customers of delinquent accounts
• Conducts verification for new borrowing clients
• Acts as liaison between clients and customers
• Assists with various account receivable projects upon request
• All other duties as assigned by management
