INTRODUCTION

At Burberry, we believe creativity opens spaces. Our purpose is to unlock the power of imagination to push boundaries and open new possibilities for our people, our customers and our communities. This is the core belief that has guided Burberry since it was founded in 1856 and is central to how we operate as a company today.

We aim to provide an environment for creative minds from different backgrounds to thrive, bringing a wide range of skills and experiences to everything we do. As a purposeful, values-driven brand, we are committed to being a force for good in the world as well, creating the next generation of sustainable luxury for customers, driving industry change and championing our communities.

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a talented creative thinker with an instinct for physical and digital storytelling to join our Campaign & Partnerships team. Translating seasonal fashion concepts and brand motifs into disruptive media formats, you will contribute to the development of innovative storytelling techniques for high impact sites across our fashion publishing network, applying a cross-channel mindset and social engagement principles to a range of formats including physical installations, mural artworks and video concepts. As the brand evolves in a new era, you will be part of an expansive, multi-disciplinary global creative department based in London, working together to keep our creative output leading edge and defining how the world sees Burberry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Concept ideation for one-off physical and digital formats that demonstrate our brand behaviours and show awareness of competitor trends and the artistic landscape.
Develop feasible ideas that coincide with creative and marketing ambitions, mocking-up detailed visual proposals and prototypes and progressing these rapidly based on feedback, continuously problem solving to realise their completion.

- Guide external production partners on a Burberry standard of excellence, applying
an exacting eye for detail across executional methods and ensuring a level of elevation that meets our luxury credentials.

- Liaise with senior creatives, marketing and project management teams to seek advice on timelines, production realities and broader business considerations concerning commissioning principles, environmental standards and messaging goals.

PERSONAL PROFILE

You should have 1-2 years experience in the design industry, with demonstrable examples of ideation for physical outcomes, as well as social content and digital experiences. An interest in production processses is also highly beneficial. You will be obsessed with craft, innovation and content trends, with an exacting eye for detail and appreciation for effective storytelling in your work. You should possess a hunger to learn about all areas of the fashion business - and be ready with ideas contextualised in the artistic and creative landscape of our luxury, streetwear and cultural competitors - with an appetite to work on large-scale projects in accelerated timelines. You have a self-motivated, organised approach, with the ability to react calmly to last minute requests.

FOOTER

Burberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience.
