Vestiaire Collective is looking for a French Translator & Copywriter to join the Creative Factory team (role based in Paris)

About the role

Vestiaire Collective is looking for a French copywriter & translator, to write engaging and persuasive copy across a variety of digital assets with a clear brand voice and strong verbal identity, ensuring that our brand DNA is communicated clearly across everything that we do. Additionally, you will be a creative & ideation partner to the wider brand & editorial team in concepting creative & content execution.

You will have the ability to adapt to an existing brand tone of voice, helping to define it further and push it forward within all external-facing communications, from email content, commercial campaigns, mobile push alerts, straplines, call to actions to brand campaigns, although this list is not exhaustive. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an innovative, fast moving company and make this role your own.

This is a full-time role based out of our Paris office reporting to the Head of Creative.

What you'll be doing
  • Thinking and writing all the messages and content for the brand and its internal or external communication media. From customer service copies to advertising slogans or commercial concepts...
  • Contribute to and participate in the creation of the brand's new tone of voice
  • Support the branding marketing and commercials teams by responding to their briefs with clear and innovative copy for our commercial and branding highlights. Implementing these concepts on our various channels.
  • Develop a strong and engaging brand identity through copy that best meets the challenges of the brand's tone of voice and by constantly evolving it
  • Thinking about the different editorial formats and their presence on our various media in order to reinforce the brand's imprint
  • Keeping a constant watch on editorial and advertising trends, the tone of voice of other brands and also on fashion, luxury and sustainable news, in order to be able to bounce back as effectively as possible and thus anchor the brand in our clients' everyday lives
  • Dig into quantitative and qualitative data to discover opportunities to improve product copy, messaging, and signposting so our experiences and offerings feel seamless and delightful

Who you are
  • 4 years+ in marketing and ad writing, ideally from a fashion retail or e-commerce retailer background
  • Ideally French natives with great english level
  • Understanding and strong knowledge of the luxury, global past-season and/or pre-owned fashion consumer
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability and confidence to liaise at all levels
  • Flexible, proactive and open to change
