The Technician (Sales Support Associate) role is a newly created position to support the client experience in Alexander Wang retail locations. The Technician role is directly responsible all operational components during client’s interaction with Leads (Sales Associates) including but not limited to greeting and queue management, cashier and wrapping, fitting room and stockroom support. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who wants to be developed across retail operations with great interpersonal and organizational skills. This position is to ensure a seamless experience for clients in Alexander Wang retail locations through scheduled operational tasks and process compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Able to execute Client Experience Expectations, ensuring brand’s goals are met for every client interaction
  • Manage queues when needed for entry to the store and to the fitting areas with high EQ, organizational and communication skills
  • Learn and adhere to operational processes
  • Maintain high level of energy when greeting clients in entry zones, ensuring clients are directed to supporting team members when support is needed and share a quick overview of the store layout during scheduled periods
  • Maintain clear understanding of new arrivals, best sellers and inventory to be able to quickly advise clients and locate within stock areas
  • Support stock receiving processes and overall stock standards during scheduled periods; ensuring products can quickly be found and placed back in designated locations when taken from sales floor
  • Support visual floor moves and maintain visual standards
  • Serve as product runner during peak traffic periods, enabling the sales team to remain in person with the clients
  • Serve as cashier during peak business periods ensuring compliance as well as packaging purchases
  • Re-stock cash areas with supplies daily and communicate

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience
  • Fashion retail experience not required but a plus
  • Excellent service standards
  • Proactive and detailed communication skills
  • Adaptable to a dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational skills
