THE ROLE

We are passionate about leveraging the power of technology in order to enhance our marketing activities and customer experience for Farfetch. In this newly created role, the successful candidate will collaborate with the Product, Data and Engineering teams to ensure best practice tagging implementations, including proposing tagging templates, creative solutions & optimal cross functional ways of working. Through capturing more accurate source data, further data model fix efforts will be reduced and these will be used to drive immediate value, to help achieve company objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Keeping abreast of industry and data privacy changes (IDFA, GDPR Consent, Browser changes) you will provide direction for Analytics tagging
    • Audit all existing Analytics tagging & formulate a plan to improve and govern this
    • Work closely with your manager, team and business partners to scope, design, develop, and implement a variety of digital data collection initiatives
    • Challenge your team and business partners in meetings to encourage healthy debate and stimulating discussions


WHO YOU ARE

    • Working knowledge of digital data collection and data quality principles
    • Passion for data, digital media and digital technology
    • Proven experience with implementing Google Analytics and Marketing Tags on websites using a tag management system (such as Google Tag Management or Tealium)
    • Highly confident in dealing with ambiguity & scoping work with keen attention to detail
    • A flexible, approachable attitude with good problem-solving skills
    • Technical background or experience working with Technical (Engineering, Data Science, Analytics) teams
    • Able to manage multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously, respond to work with urgency, and understand deadlines
