Central Analytics is a central team providing all businesses within ZMS with reporting, data concepts, deep dive analyses and consulting on all types of analytical questions. This makes us have a great impact across a broad range of stakeholders within ZMS and even beyond.

The team is already well equipped with analytical expertise focused on various data topics and as we are constantly growing, we are currently looking for a (Senior) Business Analyst. In this role you will play a key role in driving the further development of the business by further increasing our capabilities to generate insights around partner developing and support our planning. This will enable our Partner Consultancy team to take data-driven and meaningful decisions around our partner development and by this strengthen our collaboration with our partners.

You will work on various analytical concepts, data models and an advanced steering landscape by liaising with stakeholders to collect requirements around partner performance, targets and driver trees with the goal to increase our steering capabilities and by this support the business to reach their targets.

  • You own the bottom up planning for our team and iterate it further in close collaboration with our Sales and Controlling team.
  • You build up and further shape the Partner Insights function with the goal to derive actionable business insights for our Partner Consultancy team.
  • You contribute to the team´s data infrastructure (dashboards, aggregated data sets, reports, data pipelines, data models and concepts) to create seamless integration of our KPIs across all dashboards and reports.
  • You collaborate with Media Operations, Product and BI engineering teams to collect requirements, conceptualise and develop new solutions together e.g. data model, data service or tool with the goal to ease access to our partner insights & steering landscape.
  • You are used to synthesising requirements from different stakeholders into project plans and drive your own roadmap.
  • You independently explore our data, create key analyses and derive insights to improve ZMS` understanding around business drivers. You ensure that these insights become actions by actively driving them to influence the organisation.

  • You ́re proud of a degree in economics, computer science, mathematics or other quantitative studies and have already relevant > 4 years working experience in Analytics, ideally in Business Analytics or Controlling.
  • You balance technical acumen with business understanding and excel in collaborating with various stakeholders to drive insightful, robust analyses.
  • You can easily translate business questions into quantitative terms and present the results in an easily understandable manner.
  • You have excellent project management, critical thinking, and organisational skills
  • Your ability to dive into details and hands-on mentality enable you to get things done and create a big impact in a fast-paced environment.
  • You possess extensive experience of data visualisation tools like MSTR, Tableau, Google DataStudio, which is needed to create minimum valuable products (MVPs).
  • You possess experience using SQL or similar language to extract and manipulate data. Hands-on experience with a scripting language like SAS, Python or R would be a plus.
