As a Senior Manager, Diversity & Inclusion for the P&O D&I team, you will shape the way we attract, promote, and retain people by driving the diversity and inclusion strategy commitments in our do.BETTER Diversity and Inclusion strategy. You will own and implement meaningful measures and initiatives that enable and impact diversity and inclusion at Zalando.

  • Own elements of the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) strategy which include refining, extending and defining priorities
  • Analyze and create insights from data and raise the bar on our employee life cycle journey through creating meaningful small and big improvements
  • Drive the continuous development and implementation of our D&I initiatives across various business functions, working closely together with People & Organization management on talent growth and development, learning and development, and talent acquisition.
  • Keep an eye on market developments and innovative ideas/initiatives and drive their adoption at Zalando.
  • Steer commitment initiatives and of the program overall, and use insights to define further requirements that can be translated into inclusive practices.
  • Lead projects to drive measures and be comfortable in raising issues and guiding improvements in terms of inclusive policies and practices.
  • Support team members in their Diversity and Inclusion projects as sparring partners through coaching and thought leadership.
  • You are a motivated, strategic thinker and hands-on team member at the same time, with strong business acumen, the ability to translate complex ideas into manageable and structured work tasks
  • You are experienced in mentoring and coaching other team members
  • You have Passion for / experience in the field of Diversity & Inclusion in a business environment, you are analytical in using data and use cases to drive change
  • You are fluent in verbal/written English, an excellent communicator, with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Able to inspire and motivate teams and stakeholders in a cross-functional working environment, enabling them to get things done and lead by example
  • Good at prioritizing and finding efficient solutions - work in an independent and structured manner.
