OVERVIEW:


The Marketing Analytics Manager at Gymshark is a great role for an experienced individual contributor looking to develop management skills. If you are an expert data driven story teller with experience in paid and/or owned marketing effectiveness analytics this may be the role for you. The role will be responsible for enabling marketing teams to get the most out of paid and owned media investments by building an understanding of the impact across both upper and lower funnel tactics. With a focus on evaluating and clearly defining KPIs for the company you will collaborate with your team to establish a cross channel understanding of effectiveness. The Marketing Analytics Manager will report into the Sr. Manager of Analytics for North America and assist with the growth of the team while working with Marketing Analytics team members in the UK. 

Please note t his is a hybrid role partially based in our downtown Denver, CO office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You must also be authorized to work in the United States .

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Grow, lead and inspire a team of analysts (2)
  • Be a key partner to stakeholders on all channel teams; managing and prioritizing team workload to ensure that the most valuable work is always done
  • Develop and coach your team in the planning and undertaking of analytics projects and the building of reports, ensuring they have strong skills across all analytics techniques, tools and methodologies
  • Define the most important KPIs and lead the design/building of all performance reporting, tools, and analysis for the North America marketing function (CRM, paid media, organic), partnering closely with the marketing analytics team in the UK. 
  • Ensure coverage of all marketing channels and activity, enabling the marketing team to understand their performance and impact within the marketing mix.
  • Collaborate with the Sr Analytics Manager to refine the approach to media attribution in line with Gymshark's go-to-market approach in North America, ultimately working towards true return on ad spend for as many marketing channels as possible, and optimizing channel and tactic mix accordingly.
  • Provide perspective on Marketing Analytics roadmap including cross channel reporting, attribution and possible test and learn program
  • Partner with the global data team on data processing and cleansing improvements to ensure the North American team has access to accurate and complete data sets.
  • Work with the customer insight team and wider marketing function to deliver an aligned customer targeting strategy, connecting all marketing activity to ensure customers receive the right message at the right time based on their preferences.
  • Work closely with the commercial analytics team, ensuing they have visibility of marketing performance and vice versa, enabling more connected strategies and tactics.
  • Maintain strong relationships with all sub teams within the business including both stakeholders (CRM, Brand, Planning, etc) and supporting functions (Tech, Data, etc)
  • Adopt a continuous learning approach to data modeling, analysis, mining and reporting techniques, keeping up to date with the latest thinking and practices.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Minimum 3 years+ experience working in a marketing analytics / marketing science role reporting on and optimizing paid and owned media.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities within individual projects and strong desire to grow as a team and people leader
  • Extensive knowledge of CRM (ESPs, CDPs, etc.) and paid media platforms (Facebook / Instagram, Google Ads, TikTok, DSPs, etc.) from a reporting and insights perspective.
  • Experience working within an insight function and informing customer-led strategies
  • Advanced skills in analytics and visualization packages, including Google Analytics, Power BI, and Alteryx. (SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI.) Desired.
  • An understanding of media performance metrics, and broader measures of attribution (e.g. cost-per-acquisition, ROAS, first vs. last touch attribution, etc.)
  • Expert communicator, able to explain insights to non-analytically minded stakeholders
  • Expert at distilling large quantities of data points down to a key business recommendation
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders, ensuring their decisions are data led
  • Ability to coach and develop analysts with a range of skills sets
  • A team player, able to build and maintain close relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Ability to identify the most effective analytical methods to solve business problems
  • Strong ability to identify patterns and trends but also understand what is driving them

This role has a salary range between $103,000-$126,000 annually depending on experience.
