We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced innovative and creative VM Designer & Coordinator.  Responsible for conceptualizing and executing VM strategy including window design, in-store VM for boutiques, stores, and events.  You will be highly creative, commercially aware, with great communication and project management skills.  Working in a fast paced and dynamic environment, this role reports to the VM Director and works within our Brand & Creative team.

 

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conceptualize and execute the Global VM strategy and create guidelines, processes for in-store communication, product merchandising, POS material etc. in line with Dr. Barbara Sturm visual standards Deliver compelling customer experience through constantly improving the visual merchandising within stores and maintaining interest through innovation Coordinate, conceptualize and execute window designs, special events, pop ups etc.
  • Oversee and manage installations on-site
  • Project manage all VM in-store, retail activities
  • Launches and in-store execution delivered to budget and within (short) timelines
  • Collaborate with working relationship within creative team and cross functional teams
  • Create presentations/concepts/ design proposals
  • Work collaboratively with the Creative team and Cross functional teams; establish positive working relationships
  • Ability to balance creativity with commerciality
  • Maintain the performance of each of our stores by visiting our retailers and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Monitor and track VM spend, invoices and control expenditure for projects

 

 

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • 5+ years of related visual merchandising experience, ideally within the beauty industry
  • Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Rhino and Keyshot are a plus
  • Organized self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong experience with project management, leading direct in-house teams or freelancers and external agencies/vendors to work in unison
  • Strong attention to detail to produce accurate and high-quality creative work
  • Excellent eye for detail, style, design, and color
  • Effectively communicator and strong interpersonal skills
  • Creative mind, with ability to deliver commercially
  • Able to work autonomously, and also thrives in a team environment
  • Strong interest in cosmetics, fashion, retail and product and follows latest trends
  • Resourceful and creative problem solver, attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Able to travel: the role will require travel to locations across London, UK and some international
