ISSEY MIYAKE LONDON WHOLESALE ADMINSTRATOR

A great opportunity to build on the experience you will have already gained in your first job in luxury fashion sales or buying administration, the role of Wholesale Administrator at ISSEY MIYAKE will involve you in all aspects of the wholesale business of an established luxury fashion brand.

You will follow the lifecycle of wholesale orders from selling to delivery and after-sales care. As the main point of contact for wholesale administrative and logistical questions this role will require regular communication with clients, as well as oversight of third-party logistics partners and great teamwork with colleagues within your immediate team and the wider ISSEY MIYAKE business.

The Job

  • Prepare materials for the seasonal selling of four brands, both menswear and womenswear
  • Co-ordinate the showroom diary with clients in both the UK and Middle East
  • Assist with in-person and virtual sales appointments under the direction of the Wholesale Manager
  • Gather orders from clients after selling campaigns and enter the data onto our merchandising system with perfect accuracy
  • Confirm orders with clients and our production team, create Order Confirmations and gather Purchase Orders from clients
  • Prepare and fulfil clients’ shipments promptly by ensuring that the relevant paperwork is in place, warehouse bookings are made and our 3PL partners are managed effectively
  • Raise invoices, credit notes and return authorizations
  • Be an ambassador for our brands, demonstrating excellent product knowledge and always communicating professionally

About You

  • 1-2 years’ experience in luxury fashion sales or buying administration
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently and prioritise effectively
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Experience using retail software (ERP\WMS\POS) and selling platforms (Joor\NuOrder) an advantage
  • Flexibility to work beyond your job description in order to support the wider business and to develop your skills and knowledge
