The Sponsorship Manager role will be reporting to the Head of Sponsorship. This role will be responsible for leading the North American Sponsorship Program and overseeing a team of Sponsorship Associates. This will involve creating and driving a successful strategy that supports Gymshark's goals. The Gymshark Athlete is an industry renowned title that is only offered to an exclusive number of influencers & athletes. We are looking for a fearless leader that can sit at the table and provide clear guidance to senior management as well as the peers around them. This person must be a strategy expert in helping work with their direct reports to cascade how our sponsored athletes' plans will be laid out for the next 3-6 months at any given time.

The use of influencer marketing in forming long term strategic partnerships & content creation has been widely considered as one of the key factors in stimulating the company's growth. We must need this person to be able to look out in the horizon and factor in how we evolve our relationships with our athletes. You must be able to coach the next generation of leaders within our organization for success.

Please note t his is a hybrid role partially based in our downtown Denver, CO office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You must also be authorized to work in the United States .


  • Responsible for the development & growth of the NA Sponsorship Program
  • Responsible for the NA budget set by the Head of Sponsorship
  • Responsible for the day-to-day running's of NA Sponsorship Program
  • Developing and overseeing the Influencer activation strategy and execution for NA
  • Responsible for Sponsorship recruitment strategy for NA
  • Responsible for flawless experience, communication and engagement between the Brand and Athletes
  • Coordinate communications and campaigns within Brand, Sponsorship and Partnership teams as well as with key stakeholders to ensure flawless execution and complete success
  • Seed and network with relevant external partners to create a strong ecosystem of relationships in the influencer space
  • Report on Athlete and Influencer performance using KPI's set by line manager - these include monitoring social compliance, content development and commercial metrics

Management and Support:

  • Supervise a roster of Athletes
  • Manage a team of Athlete Mangers
  • Support the Sponsorship Program and overall business growth through activations and roster recruitment
  • Coordinate Brand Campaigns implementation through athletes and influencer activations
  • Drive the Sponsorship Program forward by trialling new activations concepts


  • Collaborate with other regions in Sponsorship and across teams to execute campaigns you are given ownership of and/or coordinating
  • Collaborate closely with all the teams in Brand and GTM to ensure Athletes remain at the forefront of the Brand's plans
  • Work with wider teams across the business - Trading, Finance, Legal, Product Design & Product Marketing


  • Daily performance tracking
  • Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly reporting through set KPIs
  • Campaign reporting
  • Short terms activations reports
  • Events Reports

Other Duties:

  • Willingness to travel
  • Be available out of standard working hours for ad-hoc projects
  • Be an advocate for your region(s) within the brand
  • Always push for ideas and be on top of the industry trends
  • Drive the Sponsorship Program forward as a whole


Essential Qualities:

  • BS or BA
  • 7+ years of experience with a brand or agency in the culture space (sports, entertainment, music, lifestyle)
  • A strong network of diverse industry leaders in the cultural space
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of 3+ people
  • A strong track record of building strategy through industry and consumer insights and aligned with brand goals, all the way through execution
  • Experience in Influencer Marketing and/or Brand Content Creation
  • A passion and great understanding for social media & content marketing
  • An understanding of North America cultural specificities
  • A genuine interest in fitness/conditioning
  • Ability to manage several projects concurrently
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, results oriented with an eye for details
  • Have excellent communications and networking skills.
  • An eye for talent and identifying rising stars and trends

This role has a salary range between $84,400-$95,500 annually depending on experience.
