PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ownership and Accountability
· Manage, oversee & own technical approval of Outerwear and Soft Woven for Men, Women & Kids
· Provide technical advice and support to PD, Merchants, Vendors, and Factories to meet set margins and T&A calendar.
· Participate in Handover meeting / Line / Range / Risk assessment reviews and provide solutions as
· Share best practices to maintain quality standards and facilitate product alignment across the supply chain
· Act as the go-between for EU AMS and vendor/factory technicians to achieve the highest standard of product, in line with brand identity
· Ad hoc projects - participate and lead global projects to create and define new SOP and best practices.
Product Execution and Risk Assessment
· Review Proto, Fit, and PPS to ensure that they conform to design specifications, sample size, and gradation for 'Right First Time' sampling and size sets
· Responsible for upholding design intent from Proto through to Pre-production Approval. Where concerns arise, act proactively to provide cost-effective and production viable solution/s
· Evaluate garment construction and quality to identify possible risks, and partner with a vendor to provide alternative suggestions upstream
· Create and continually update category and brand-specific Minimum Construction Standard Manual tools
Vendor Support, Knowledge Transfer and Empowerment
· Regular travel to factory for face-to-face training, see new production methods/machines, and communicate fit comments for RFT (Right First Time) sample submission.
· Onboard and educate vendors/factories to understand our brand DNA, create cost-effective and production viable samples that will not compromise design intent, functionality, and aesthetics
· Train vendors to identify and call out potential issues concerning design interpretation, measurements, fitting, construction, and workmanship upstream to reduce sample iteration
· Seasonally track 'Vendor Performance' to ensure vendor meets set KPIs
· Provide S.O.P and performance-enhancing training to ensure standards are understood and embedded into new processes and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education & Experience:
· Diploma or above in Technical Design, Garment Technology, Pattern Grading or equivalent preferred
· At least 5 years relevant experience
Skills:
· Adept knowledge of Outerwear pattern making, construction, garment making, fitting & manufacturing
· Learning mindset, ability to manage own self-development, to take advantage of the PVH U learning
· A calibrated mindset that builds good working relationships, team spirit, and camaraderie
· Excellent communicator, effectively across the team and organization, and able to convey technical information clearly in simple terms with clarity
· Experience with PLM, Knowledge of CAD & 3D is advantageous
· Strong MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook).
· Good command of written and spoken English, fluency in local language is advantageous
