The Senior Analyst leads the obsolescence process by developing and executing product disposition plans which alleviate excess inventory and maximize lifecycle planning goals. This individual partners cross-functionally to measure inventory risk,and defines and executes disposition plans which optimize productivity and minimize expense. In addition, the Senior Analyst leads Employee Store product management, including assortment and pricing.

Obsolescence:

Lead regular analysis of inventory productivity and identify areas of opportunity to alleviate excess inventory. Partner with Finance on assessment of inventory risk.

Manage cross-functional obsolescence process, guiding partners across Merchandising, Planning, Retail and Operations through lifecycle plans and disposition activities.

Present analyses and make recommendations on disposition plans which alleviate excess inventory, maximizing lifecycle planning goals and minimizing expense. Coordinate execution of disposition plans.

Proactively seek to identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting optimization.

Act as subject matter expert for obsolescence reporting and execution.

Employee Store Product Management:

Recommend first time pricing structure for merchandise identified for sale through Employee Store, including discontinued items, Product Development samples, vendor seconds and overstocks. Regularly review pricing and in context of sales and inventory, make recommendations for price changes.

Ensure assortment alignment between Employee Store channels and partner on site merchandising opportunities.

Facilitate SKU creation when necessary and support ad hoc requests for Employee Store merchandise, in collaboration with Planning, Merchandising, E-Commerce and Operations teams.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline or comparable experience

Prior experience in similar role with financial and operational inventory management

Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Clarity in communication, verbal and written

Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across levels and functional areas

Results oriented and self-motivated with strong drive for achievement
