Safiyaa is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join the team.

The ideal candidate must be able to show creativity and have strong social media and copywriting skills, while also being data oriented. 

The candidate will be organised and able to work in a fast paced environment. They will be experienced in implementing a campaign from A to Z, from strategizing to producing, executing and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube, adapting content to suit the different channels
  • Self-shooting content in all formats, with a particular focus on moving content formats (reels, IGTV, lives, TikTok)
  • Using software suites, digital tools and apps to create unique content that visually defines the unique voice of Safiyaa ( Work with a broad range of social tools to deliver campaigns and analyse their impact)
  • Curating our social feeds to create the perfect balance of BTS content, campaign creative, and mood content
  • With the team, build highly innovative and inherently social campaigns for all key projects, that are insight-led and resonate with our target audience & community, driving reach and engagement
  • Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
  • Build deep relationship with social platforms to identify new opportunities and develop innovative activations ahead of competitors
  • Creating and implementing strategies to build community and increase engagement
  • Writing captions that are engaging, punchy and on brand to encourage engagement
  • Ensuring content is planned, scheduled and posted in a timely and organised way and ensuring alignment with the marketing calendar 
  • Monitoring, tracking, analysing and reporting on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights and using the resulting insights to drive continuous improvement
  • Creating and maintaining a suite of regular social media reports to showcase progress to all internal stakeholders and partner agencies 
  • Monitoring competitor activity to continually evolve our idea of what best-in-class content looks like in the luxury space
  • Researching and evaluating the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
  • Setting targets to increase brand awareness and increase customer engagement

Profile:

  • Background in fashion advertising, art direction, graphic design, copywriting,  marketing, communications or public relations preferred
  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • A solid understanding of the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly in relation to art direction and customers
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for each platform
  • Creative mindset
  • Excellent team working, collaboration and networking skills
  • Organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise and work across multiple projects
  • Can work under pressure, with the ability to be reactive and flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Skills in data analysis and interpreting statistics
  • Strategic and analytical thinker that can interpret numbers and data into actionable insights and learnings
  • Motivation and commitment
  • Understanding of the Paid Social Media landscape
  • Strong work ethic
  • Experience in Fashion
  • Experience with Adobe Suite, Canva, Social Bakers, Google Analytics
