Position Overview
An exciting new role within the B&M business planning team for Europe. With strong Excel capability, you will take ownership of stores performance administration and other key strategic growth areas within the business, using data analysis to track KPIs and identify opportunities. This role is hybrid working spending 40% in the office based in Watford

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Build and maintain store performance reporting on Excel and regularly circulate the wider business. · Deep dive into store, category & wider market insights to provide a deeper understanding of trade performance · Attend meetings to discuss performance & actions. · Build partnerships internally to understand trade levers & influence on KPIs: o Partner with country specialists to understand nuances across markets, including performance within ecosystem & wider retail trading environment o Partner with business planning to highlight financial risks or opportunities as part of monthly forecast process · Support data & insights team with analysis on wider direct to consumer initiatives · Maintain data templates and adding visualizations using Excel and PowerPoint. · Deliver business cases, ad-hoc projects & briefs

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* 1-2 full strategic cycles in data analysis/merchandising through previous role or area of study · Highly organised with sharp attention to detail · Data driven mindset & keenness to learn new tools & models · Commercially astute - ability to define and track the KPIs that really matter · Strong communication skills · Team player with enthusiasm to build relationships cross functionally · Intermediate level Excel ( Formulas, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) , understanding of retail KPIs & ability to process data is essential.
