JOB PURPOSE

An exciting opportunity to join our Global D&I team. As Global D&I Manager you will manage, conceptualise, deliver Diversity & Inclusion projects for the function, as well as manage the D&I communication plan, including cultural days. You will also support the execution of the global Diversity &Inclusion strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

D&I Communications:
  • Manage and lead on all communication plans outlined in the D&I strategy; both internally and externally.
  • Responsible for the delivery of the cultural events/days that will be recognised globally (IWD, Pride)

D&I Dashboard:
  • Help create and lead on the global diversity dashboard updating on a quarterly basis
  • Create a process on regular reporting -Work with the HR data analytics and systems team to establish a regular reporting on D&I

D&I Councils:
  • Lead and manage the internal D&I council
  • Report annually on all activities that have took place for the councils

Benchmarking:
  • Conduct and lead on existing benchmarking for Burberry
  • Support the Head of D&I and Senior manager on any benchmarking opportunities in D&I
  • Review external D&I data and landscape as and when needed

Partnerships:
  • Be the point of contact of all D&I partnerships
  • Review and create new partnership in alignment with the D&I strategy

Other responsibilities include:
  • Translate best practices in D&I into readily available resources and programs aligned to business needs; disseminate resources in a variety of formats across all levels of the organization
  • Report on D&I efforts and partner with business and talent management leaders to drive improvements in talent acquisition and retention
  • Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan through effectively coordinating people, resources and budget.
  • Provide ad-hoc project management support to the Head of D&I
  • Support any local D&I activities for markets and functions as required
  • Lead on all D&I events such as townhalls, talks and internal workshops


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Direct 4 years+ in D&I experience
  • Strong proven experience in data analytics and creating diversity dashboards
  • Strong proven track record in project managing D&I programmes
  • Experience in creating D&I budgets, management and ownership of department budget
  • Experience in D&I consultancy, and seen as D&I specialist
  • Strong knowledge of D&I best-practice and what companies are doing on D&I
  • Strong understanding on how to establish D&I best-practice and thought leadership for companies
  • Proven experience in working with senior stakeholders
  • Experience in compliance on global and local governance relating to D&I
  • Strong PowerPoint + presentation skills and ability to present to variety of stakeholders
  • Experience in writing diversity reports
