Jewelry Production Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily communication with factories, ensuring quality and execution standards are met, and proactively work for improvements. 
• Create Purchase Orders for Production, manage lead times, and track schedules
• Work with factories to ensure problems are addressed and solutions are achieved
• Communicating and setting priorities for internal technical team and external factories
• Work through the entire costing process
• Approve all production invoices
• Stone, material and technique sourcing and explorations with Head of Development 
• Manage Serial Number Master sheet and assignments
• Manage Quality Control Process, make sure every piece is studied and examined in minute detail
• Foresight in time management of getting new batches of productions QC’ed once received; working efficiently to transfer pieces to assembly and address any concerns with factories 
• Manage Wear Testing program and evaluate all results 
• Manage loans for photoshoots keeping an organized database
• Maintain inventory positions for all packaging and chains and plan orders accordingly
• Oversee assembly process
• Generate Weekly Reports for Development and Production positions

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a deep understanding of quality
• Excellent communication, organizational, and management skills
• A deep sense of prioritization managing several projects simultaneously
• Good understanding of product integrity, costing, and margins 
• Experience in jewelry is a plus
