Digital Marketing Manager – Country Marts, J.S. Rosenfield & Co.

J.S. Rosenfield & Co. is seeking to add a Digital Marketing Manager to their team. This role is hybrid and will require periodical travel to Marin Country Mart, Brentwood Country Mart, and Montecito Country Mart.  

The Digital Marketing Manager will oversee the Country Marts’ digital presence including social media, email marketing, and website content. This role reports to the Marketing & Communications Director. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about content creation, storytelling, and maintaining a consistent brand message. The Marketing Manager will create daily social media content for all three Marts, maintaining each Mart’s brand voice while driving engagement. They will also manage website updates and weekly email newsletters and other miscellaneous emails, as needed, to promote events, tenants, and Mart happenings.

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to travel to Marin, Brentwood, and/or Montecito periodically, as needed.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media and brand building.  
  • Proven creative writing and editorial skills with an outstanding command of the English language.
  • Passionate about social media, content creation and storytelling.  
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs and experience creating social media strategies.
  • Deep understanding of social media metrics and data analysis.  
  • Strong project management skills with a proven ability to multi-task.
  • Experience and interest in consumer goods, retail and the luxury space.
  • High attention to detail and ability to coordinate, compile and prioritize information from multiple stakeholders to create engaging content.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, problem solve, and work independently.
  • Experience in the following:
    • Email marketing including content creation and lists management/segmentation, ideally with Constant Contact.
    • Photo and short video editing.  
    • Influencer engagement and PR.  
    • Website content management in Squarespace.
    • Google My Business and Yelp.
    • InDesign, Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom for in-house, small-scale projects.

Hours: 40 hours a week, contractor or full-time employee acceptable
