Job Overview

The role of the Trade Area Digital Selling Leader is to build selling competency and a sustainable culture around Digital Selling. The Digital Selling Leader reports to the Trade Area Vice President and functions as their strategic partner to drive this initiative across the Trade Area. The Digital Selling Leader will be expert in all selling technology and in the selling tactics of both reactive and proactive customer interactions. Through teaching and coaching, they will equip store selling leaders (GM, AGM, BSM, Supervisors) to effectively lead their sales professionals to satisfy the omnichannel needs of our customers and to build valuable customer relationships. In partnership with the People Leader, they will work directly with Sales Professionals to build their digital skill and results.

Essential Functions

· Equip the store selling leadership-through training and coaching-to lead the digital selling initiative.

· Utilize digital selling data to determine strengths and opportunities in selling behaviors and work with the stores to develop and execute improvement plans.

· Share best practices for digital selling; lead recognition of digital selling successes.

· With Central Selling Pyramid and Digital Selling Leader peers:

*Partner to understand the corporate selling strategy and tech road map

*Brainstorm and implement strategies to drive business

*Communicate ground intelligence and status updates of implementation wins and gaps

*Share execution practices to build competency, consistency and community

· Serve as the People Leader for the dedicated digital sellers in the trade area "hub." Train and develop them and ensure they achieve both sales and behavioral goals.

· The Digital Selling Leader works from TA store locations a minimum of 3x per week, traveling locally as needed; can be remote up to 2x per week, connecting virtually with work partners. This remote time will focus on 1-1 and small group coaching and tutorials.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelors Degree

• 3-5 years related experience

• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner

• Resourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a team, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Physical Requirements

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or department

• May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping and color vision

• Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions

• Frequently lift/move up to 25lbs

Travel Required 25%
