JOB PURPOSE

You will report to the SEO manager and will help carry out initiatives outlined in the SEO roadmap as well as support the team with day to day duties. This is a key support role working with the SEO specialists.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support with important metrics analysis including crawling, indexation, rank tracking and duplication using SEO tools
  • Work through a Technical SEO training plan to gain an understanding of SEO
  • Audit Burberry website to find and fix issues
  • Identify user experience improvements and bots' behaviour
  • Support leading crucial technical projects together with products team
  • Work together with development teams to implement redirect requests, recommend internal linking changes and other Technical SEO specifications
  • Assist and build relationships with external and internal teams
  • Follow Google's latest algorithm updates


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • A passion to further your career in SEO
  • An understanding of SEO and the importance of Technical SEO
  • Strong analytical skills
  • An understanding of user analysis to improve user experience
  • Previous hands-on Technical and Content SEO experience
  • Up to date knowledge of the latest industry trends tools and algorithms, SEO best practices
  • Experience of project management software and excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in and knowledge of luxury fashion and e-commerce business
  • Comfortable with code - whilst you don't require the coding skills of a developer, you will understand HTML, Schema/JSON mark up, and the workings of JavaScript
  • Experience working with other search engines apart from Google
