The Account Assistant role is the first step towards a successful career in Marketing & Communications. Whilst this is an entry level position, specialising in PR & communications, this role has several vital responsibilities offering ownership on select number of proposals and projects on one of Karla Otto’s biggest luxury clients. The Account Assistant will work closely with the Account Co-ordinator and Senior Account Manager supporting the team on the development of several projects simultaneously, demanding high level of organisation, multitasking and prioritising. The ability to adapt to a variety of client demands and complete tasks accurately and on time is key. The role also liaises on building relationships with the wider internal team across other departments (Marketing/Events/Digital) to appropriately implement and execute each project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS INCLUDE:
- Assist on select projects throughout the year including the co-ordination of global international PR offices, reporting, administration, and supporting with the management of team budgets and invoicing Support the team on ongoing strategic communications strategies, creation of presentations, concepts, client reporting, press releases and mailings Coordinate with the key internal and external teams to enhance the execution and success of each project Support with project pitching where appropriate, build and develop a network of media and KOL contacts to increase client results Support senior team in logistics planning to support global communications projects, for example a press & influencer trip. Identify trends on social and traditional medias to incentivize the team and client ei. changes to Instagram, TikTok, any new platforms Keep abreast of industry and cultural updates, taking ownership of planning calendars and insights documents to support the wider teams Co-ordination of sample trafficking between client and media, as required. Media monitoring: reviewing articles and formatting clippings to be shared with the client and internal teams Undertake administrative tasks required for the client as well as for Internal purposes; including scheduling, preparing agenda’s, minutes and invoices
