Vestiaire Collective is looking for a Finance Analyst Intern for 6 months to join our Finance team in Paris.

About the role

Working hand in hand with the Financial team as well as with a BI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing tools, dashboards and reports to support business needs in order to maximize growth and business impact. You should have excellent data analytics skills, show great attention to details, the ability to use BI / data visualization tools and a passion for making data clear and available for the business. You should also be able to make recommendations on additional KPIs to monitor as well as new reporting formats to implement. In that regards, you should have a strong business mindset.

What you'll do
  • The desired candidate for this role will be responsible for developing tools, dashboards and reports to support the Finance team.
  • The Finance Analyst Intern should have excellent data analytics skills, show great attention to details, and a passion for making data clear and available to key stakeholders.
  • The expectations of the role include structuring data analysis and insights, gathering the needs from financial controllers/accounting teams and converting those into BI requirements.
  • The candidate will need to be hands-on experience building SQL queries and dashboards, and continuously improve data workflows (simplification, automation, optimisation).

Who you are
  • BA/B.Sc in Statistics / Math / Engineering/ Economy or other quantitative fields
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Extensive experience working with data tables (Excel / Spreadsheets) and willingness to develop further SQL skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong problem solving skills and business mindset
  • Strong communication skills, aligning with stakeholders
  • Project management skills, ability to formalize projects, set milestones, anticipate resource needs and deliver results
  • Autonomous
