Customer Insight Analyst

OVERVIEW:


The Customer Insight Analyst role sits in the Analytics team and ensures teams have an in-depth understanding of customer behavior and trends. As a customer insight analyst, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of ad-hoc requests, reporting and analysis, primarily focused around the strategic areas of customer insight. This will involve taking briefs and business questions from stakeholders, working with large data sets to get to the data required, pulling out the key insights and trends within the data and presenting this back to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, with recommendation focused insights. The primary tools you will be using on a daily basis to unlock analytical insight into Gymsharks customer base will be Alteryx, Tableau and SQL; but we are always looking for ways to develop our skills and toolkit.

Please note t his is a hybrid role partially based in our downtown Denver, CO office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You must also be authorized to work in the United States .

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Build insight reports and dashboards to enable wider business teams to self-serve in analytics and allow quick access to core customer KPIs
• Provide actionable customer insight to business teams that answers key business questions, enables the business to understand our customers further, and inform strategic decisions that are grounded in customer insight.
• Develop a complete knowledge of customer data in Gymshark's North America business
• Adopt a continuous learning approach to data modelling, analysis, mining and reporting techniques, keeping up to date with the latest thinking and practices
• Take a proactive approach where possible to give ideas on projects that could unlock growth or opportunities for Gymshark to use customer insights
• Develop strong relationships with all sub-teams within the data function, sharing learnings to maximize the access and value of insights across the business

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 2 years+ experience in an analyst role, focused on insight
• Strong skills in analytics tools/languages, particularly in Alteryx, Tableau, SQL and BI
• Experience working with (including the manipulation of) large data sets to track and understand customer behavior.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with a wide range of key stakeholders
• Ability to identify patterns and trends but also understand what is driving them and relay that to the business.
• A problem solver and logical thinker, with the ability to see the bigger picture and get to the underlying business questions
• The ability to strategically prioritize workload, collaboratively delivering under pressure and to target on time deadlines.
• Naturally curious thinking, self-driven character with a passion for understanding customers and telling data led stories

This role has a salary range between $79,000-$89,000 annually depending on experience.
