OVERVIEW:


As a SEO Search Specialist, you are responsible for executing the overall technical SEO and paid search strategies to continue growth on the North American e-commerce transactional stores. You'll need a solid understanding of core SEO and search tactics. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the website health is consistently monitored, executing end-to-end set-up, optimizations, and maintenance of paid search campaigns. You will also research, monitor, and provide recommendations on content related strategies ensure keyword visibility continues to grow.

Please note t his is a hybrid role partially based in our downtown Denver, CO office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You must also be authorized to work in the United States .

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Assist in managing technical SEO work streams (including running site audits, working with IT to manage technical SEO onsite and recommendations against SEO and business ranking goals). 
  • Conduct on-page / technical SEO analysis and audits to find any issues that could be impacting SEO performance and provide solutions to fix.
  • Conduct off-page content and link profile analysis to discover opportunities for Gymshark.
  • Undertake weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on core metrics (including but not limited to keyword rankings, traffic, revenue and conversion).
  • Provide clear insights and actionable recommendations on SEO performance related to activity being completed on a monthly basis.
  • Support wider business on technical queries, education on SEO and understanding SEO performance.
  • Attend and contribute to internal meetings to help define the most relevant and effective strategies and best SEO practice for Gymshark.
  • Ensure you are up to date with SEO & Content best practices to support the Content team with keyword research, content creation and/or optimisation and meta data creation as and when requested.
  • Manage, review, and perform daily account responsibilities associated with Google Ads, Bing and other search engine and social media platforms for a variety of clients.
  • Maintain and monitor keyword bids, audience targeting, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics.
  • Manage the creation of large keyword lists.
  • Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templates.
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword and audience opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client goals.
  • Provide oversight and manage new paid search and social media campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and aid in the creation of paid search marketing initiatives.

Management and Support:

  • Manage technical SEO and paid search workflows, working closely with key partners, internal stakeholders and the wider SEO team.
  • Management of reporting on site health & performance, ensuring recommendations are made and executed.
  • Key involvement in technical projects, product launches, and creative campaigns, including making recommendations on SEO involvement, strategy and team execution.

Collaboration:

  • Ensure collaboration across media campaign stakeholders to ensure campaigns are being executed with clear objectives, visibility into other Media tactics and debrief post campaign.
  • Collaborate with the Data & Insight team to better understand the customer journey and how SEO activity fits into this for campaign execution.
  • Build strong relationship with IT to ensure SEO has full visibility of site changes well in advance, whilst also providing guidance on SEO best practice and any changes require from an SEO perspective.
  • Work closely with Ecom team to ensure site changes, including creation of pages and any site changes are clearly defined to SEO team so recommendations can be made.
  • Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results.

Analytics:

  • Daily monitoring of SEO and paid earch performance and any notable changes logged.
  • Providing insight into performance to SEO team ensuring reporting includes actionable insights and recommendations for changes.
  • Reporting and insights on Google updates and industry changes.

Knowledge and Opportunity:

  • Focus on understanding direct SEO and paid search contribution to overall organic visibility, looking at the customer journey, activity completed and recommendations made.
  • Deep understanding of SEO and search algorithms and changes to ensure that we are protecting our websites from being hit by Google updates.
  • Understanding and execution of defined SEO and search processes to ensure proper working efficiency.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • At least 2 years' Search and SEO experience in-house or within an agency
  • Good understanding of both onsite and offsite SEO
  • Knowledge of how to apply technical SEO strategies
  • Experience of using Google Analytics, Adwords, BING, Google Search Console and Google Keyword Planner
  • Ability to analyse data and report on findings
  • Competent with Excel
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A passion for all things digital and a desire to test new tactics and keep up to date with industry changes

This role has a salary range between $61,000-$73,500 annually depending on experience.
