The Team
The TH NOS team is a part of the TH Buy, Plan & Ops team which main objective is ensuring the availability of the right product, at the right time, with the right quantity.

The Position
Based in Amsterdam, the Demand and Supply Planner manages the end-to-end demand and supply planning process for the Never out of Stock (NOS) Assortment of the Hilfiger Women's & Kids lifestyle business.

The role is responsible for driving the EMEA monthly demand forecast in close collaboration with key Regional Demand Planning and Sales teams, internal Markets and Product Merchandising teams, as well as insights gathered through market knowledge and quantitative analysis.

Demand plans translate into Supply Plans, which comprise of a monthly buy as well as an update to the long term rolling vendor forecasts with the main goal of minimizing lead-times and ensure timely delivery.

This role will work closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to assess opportunities for growth, contribute to, and drive process improvement initiatives from inception to completion. We are looking for someone who likes a challenge, has an open mind set and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop demand plans for a 12/24 month horizon based on statistical forecasts, trend analysis, and market insights on a monthly basis.
  • Liaise with regional demand planning teams during the Monthly Demand Review Meetings and conduct analysis on NOS sales in order to obtain in-depth understanding of NOS performance and expected demand, thereby driving increased forecast accuracy whilst optimizing sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Product and Market Merchandising on the NOS collection to ensure data-driven decision-making leads to an efficient and commercially viable assortment.
  • Actively manage the NOS New Product Launch process from gathering forecasts from markets, determining sell through rates and initial buy volumes to an eventual business case sign off.
  • Provide reporting on NOS performance to stakeholders on monthly basis and lead the quarterly review/performance meetings.
  • Manage the monthly buy cycle with the vendors (monthly buying and updated supply plan forecasting).
  • Driving the supply process by working with sourcing hubs & offshore teams to effectively maintain sufficient inventory levels and fulfilment of market demand.
  • Confirming buys, negotiating delivery dates and additional details with vendors.
  • Planning vendor capacity and raw material requirements for upcoming 12 months.
  • Liaising closely with the Operations team on buy amendments and challenges faced within the supply chain.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Educated to bachelor/masters level; Education background: Supply Chain Management, Economics, or any related quantitative field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Demand or Supply/Production Planning, or, a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Understanding of forecast error metrics.
  • Skills in gathering, interpreting and visualizing data.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to take ownership of tasks.
  • Ambitious, passionate and personable.
  • Proficiency with MS office and advanced skills in Excel (Experience with SAP and Advanced planning systems is a plus).
  • Fluent in English.
