Job Details

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Graphic Designer to manage all day-to-day functions.

Assisting and reporting to the Art Director, the Graphic Designer will play a key role within the DeMellier team to build and implement the brand story through new and existing content, ensuring our visual language across digital platforms are in line with our brand DNA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design, layout, and formatting of graphic materials, integrating typographic, photographic elements.
  • Works closely with the Art Director and creative team to ensure images and artwork are aligned with the brand identity across all platforms.
  • Digital marketing working closely with the Marketing teams to create high quality content and ensure strong storytelling in alignment with the marketing calendar.
  • Execute artwork across organic and paid channels such as newsletters, website, ads etc.
  • Retouch and edit web imagery such as E-Comm products, still life and campaigns.
  • Assist E-Comm team on site maintenance and general improvements ensuring high-quality representation of products, images, video etc.
  • Execute digital and print collateral across marketing, wholesale and internal use.
  • Design assets for a variety of marketing, PR and business needs such as training packs, marketing decks, presentations etc.
  • Verbally presents graphic ideas and details with clarity to the Art Director and Creative Director
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned by the manager.

The ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role either in-house or at an agency
  • Strong layout, typography and retouch skills
  • Experience in creating content for key social platforms including editing video, GIFs,
  • Extremely proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Indesign and Premier Pro/After Effects.
  • Demonstrated understanding of social media best practices, and a keen interest in digital trends, platform innovation and new features
  • Eye for detail and strong visual understanding of brand DNA
  • Experience in a fast-paced, creative work environment
  • Organised workflow and ability to follow corporate calendars and critical path
  • Confident in pitching new ideas A positive and collaborative attitude
  • Strong presentation and communication skills Fluent in English (spoken and written)
