KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, TO INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

VIDEO AND CONTENT CREATION:

  • Edit video/audio content to produce final assets primarily for Instagram and Facebook, ensuring you are driving the design and creative vision to support brand launches and activations

  • Have a forward-thinking mindset and be reactive to social trends, be proactive in bringing ideas for social posts to the table, with a focus on video-based content

  • Basic movie editing skills: creation of cut downs and format adaptations, text integration, gif creation and execution of small animations

  • Create relevant assets for always-on and campaign content streams, in particular Instagram, utilising UGC and reviews

  • Required to attend shoots and events to support with content creation, editing and live posting/streaming

  • The opportunity to work with the wider team including press and wholesale to create and execute exciting social

    first content

  • The opportunity to conduct weekly research and monitor social media networks to raise social trends, platform

    changes and new format

  • Work with various departments such as Ecommerce, Paid and Social Media, making visual content recommendations

    based on their needs and requirements

  • Contribute to the strategic development of video content development, identifying any additional information needed

    PRODUCTION / IMAGE AND SHOOT SUPPORT:

  • To support in coordinating and executing all content made in house from street style, lookbook and ecomm shoots, to social media content

  • Responsible for assisting in the planning and the post-production of all shoots, putting forward ideas for imagery and video selection for the Needle & Thread website, Newsletters, and Instagram Feed, Stories, Highlights, Reels, and other social platforms.

  • Assisting the Graphic Designer Manager on set / in development of projects including researching and building creative details (set references, poses, location ideas, concepts etc)

  • Support senior members of the production team on large-scale lookbook shoots and content

  • Keep the production team and creative teams up to date with inspirational new campaigns, new technology, new faces, and fresh up-coming talent

DIGITAL CREATIVE AND GRAPHIC DESIGN:

  • Support with the design of business-as-usual workflows such as email, social media, blog posts, homepage updates and affiliate banners

  • Support with all social and web assets for seasonal launches if required

  • Support with designing assets for a variety of marketing, PR and business needs such as invitations to events or pop

    ups, press packs, lookbooks, marketing decks etc

  • Execute graphic design work according to the brand hand writing of Needle & Thread.

  • Support with design, layout, and formatting of graphic materials, integrating typographic, photographic, illustrative,

    and other elements

  • Work closely with the Marketing teams to create high quality content across organic and paid channels.

  • Collaborates with creative team to ensure a high quality of brand consistency for social media, web landscape, and

    additional market platforms

  • Concept, design and art working for bespoke social media content and activations

  • Stay up to date on relevant fashion and social media trends, ideate original and innovative concepts for social media

    channels

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • 2 + years’ experience of graphic design and editing (either agency, in-house or self-employed)

  • Degree in graphic or digital media design (preferred but not essential)

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

  • Proficient in Microsoft office

  • Animation skills (After Effects - preferred but not essential)

  • Video editing skills (Premiere Pro)

  • You understand the stills and video production process, from conception to post production

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms - understanding of meme culture, consistently up to date with latest

    trends and ability to contribute original ideas

  • You have experience supporting the senior members of the production team on larger scale lookbook and shoot

    projects

  • Familiar with creating content for Instagram Reels

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Has the ability to work across a range of departments within the business, and be able to manage both creative and

    organisational responsibilities

  • Be able to work effectively towards a deadline

  • Has the ability to design to a brief, and is able to understand the brand aesthetic, ensuring all assets delivered are

    on brand across all key responsibilities.
