Rodebjer is looking for a Head of Pattern

Do you have an eye for details and a wizard on creating amazingly well-fitted products? Are you ready to take on an equally rewarding and challenging and highly creative role on Rodebjer’s fit work?   

To be successful in an international fashion industry, being on par with fit and customer expectation is key. In our organisation, you are the expert on fit and product quality and within that work identifies where the challenges lie and create a strategical and proactive plan on how to take the next step. In this role, you are responsible for our fit as well as maintaining a consistent fit perception over seasons. You are the driver of quality and making as well as bringing your expertise to the team when it comes to details, function and fabric compatibility to fit. You will be working both independently by driving change and progress to deliver on your goals as well as together with the team, securing the overall outcome. This role balances the daily operational tasks with fittings and sample commenting with the more strategical forecasting and planning for the department. We currently don’t have any in-house pattern making but as you lay out the strategical plan, it might be something that we will increase ownership of.

To succeed in this role, you should be able to:

  • Deliver a highly desirable sustainable fashion assortment with focus on an excellent fit for each product Plan, present and execute on a strategical level as well as managing the daily operational tasks for the department Have full control over your processes and deadlines yet work with flexibility and speed Source for, and provide, creative solutions that meet both aesthetic needs and that will work within the product margin target Secure an elevated supplier performance and punctual delivery

Your approach is positive and open-minded, tirelessly pushing on until you have reached your goals. You are a team player at heart, understanding that a complete delivery is through dedicated teamwork. You can work well under pressure and withstand periods with high pace yet keeping a stringent structure and thoroughness.

 

Your background:

  • Minimum 6-year relevant work expertise Relevant education Preferably experience from working in an international fashion environment
