The Role:

As the Head of Digital Technology, you will own the planning of digital technology initiatives for Deckers EMEA. This will include the management of all technologies that make up the EMEA websites and how they perform.

In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of SFCC solution and third-party integrations.

Your Impact:

  • Ensure the needs of the EMEA Digital Experience Teams are met by collaborating with the Global eCommerce team to ensure all aspects of the website are operational and deliver the best Consumer experience as possible
  • Care for the current technology stack for EMEA, provide training, expertise and knowledge on how to use infrastructure like Search, PIM, CMS, and Business manager
  • Facilitate the adoption of features and be an advocate to enhance ROI on all resources that make up the EMEA technology stack
  • Provide guidance and business cases to help deliver new technology needed in region and develop relationships for EMEA with third party vendors
  • Produce and analyse on-going reporting metrics to ensure the sites are performing at their best
  • Make recommendations to improve site speed and third party performance
  • Conduct RFPs to ensure the technology is up to date and within budget

Who You Are:

  • Able to develop effective teams and foster a positive working environment
  • Can effectively prepare and and communicate information and findings to stakeholders across the business
  • Able to own multiple projects simultaneously
  • Has a creative and tactical approach to projects in a growth company
  • Knowledge and experience with eCcommerce, Retail, and Omnichannel technologies
  • Makes decisions in a timely manner, and under tight deadlines
  • Organised and able to delegate and collaborate to bring together resources
  • Proactive resolution of project issues and conflict.

We would Love to Hear from People with:

  • Experience in a similar role within the retail industry
  • An experienced professional within the field, and an excellent understanding of the eCommerce business systems and web platform
  • Estimating, budgeting, and reporting skills
  • Experience and knowledge of guiding and supporting a team
  • Certification of PMP/Scrum is a plus
