JOB PURPOSE

Burberry is looking for an experienced Project Manager with Agile delivery experience to manage digital Offline to Online (O2O) projects.

The projects will span technologies and devices and will have a wide business impact across departments. This will give the ideal candidate great exposure across the business and will provide opportunities to develop knowledge of the sector.

The ideal candidate will have responsibility for the process and orchestration of delivering the product roadmaps across multiple channels (web, mobile, integrations, data), managing outcomes as well as partnering with wider business delivery teams to deliver on time and to budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Will be a key member of the Digital and O2O Delivery team and will manage projects in a continuous delivery fashion with the focus on marketing technologies as well as customer personalisation initiatives that improve customer experience and conversion rates.

Experience in data and integration projects as well as exposure to various marketing and customer tools/products is preferred.

Will be responsible for orchestrating the delivery of solution designs, development, functional and user acceptance testing, cutovers as well as transition to support of various projects - working closely with a team of Business Analysts, Product Owners and Engineers both on-site and remote.

Will be a pro-active character capable of driving the project forwards in a positive way - with a hunger for inspiring change and operational improvement

Will have excellent knowledge and working experience in Agile and an understanding of Jira and continuous delivery.

Will work with a passionate, fun and dedicated teams - on a day to day basis the role will involve:

Iterating the delivery process for the team to ensure the team are working efficiently, effectively and happily
Facilitate Agile ceremonies for the stream, communicating agendas and outcomes
Orchestrating the deliverables from the team, holding the team members accountable to their commitments
Co-ordination and management of resources across departments
Monitoring and reporting monthly
Owning the ongoing communication of delivery status to stakeholders
Facilitate and assist the team in vendor selection and management
Facilitate and support the team and unblock issues from around the business
Raise risks to team members and stakeholders when necessary
Help team members prioritise their work in alignment with business priorities

PERSONAL PROFILE

Experience of running delivery of Agile projects is essential. An understanding and certification in Agile and an understanding of Agile Project Management approaches and how to apply them.
Significant industry experience working across large websites, mobile, desktop and applications. Could be from an agency, consultancy or client side
Demonstrable background within a technical project management role
Experience working with offshore teams and agencies
A familiarity and appreciation of the strengths and weaknesses of a range of technologies is useful.
A passion for retail and experience within a software delivery company is essential. 
Experience of running delivery of Agile projects is essential.
