JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Talent Development Partner for this role will serve as a primary Talent business partner for the NA Retail Stores primarily supporting all the Talent initiatives for the Retail Store Employees in this region. We rely on you to keep a "pulse" on our employee population, the culture and dynamics in the stores, and to suggest strong talent solutions and initiatives to support and drive our business. Hold regularly schedule bi-weekly touch bases with District Managers, General Managers, and District Visual Managers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide day-to-day partnership and counsel on all HR disciplines: talent development & coaching, recruitment, organizational design, employee relations, learning & development, policies and procedures, and compensation and incentives.
• Leverage our Talent Centers of Excellence teams to support client groups and execute and direct HR programs.
• Develop, support and communicate policies and procedures, while encouraging and driving consistency.
• Provide HR support and guidance in organizational change initiatives ensuring all data is properly captured and updated in HRIS system
• Proactively address employee relations efforts and conduct balanced investigations with solution-based action plans and outcomes

• Manage and resolve employee relations issues timely and thoroughly, effectively partnering with Legal as necessary, to mitigate risk and possible exposure
• Closely partner with store leadership to create an environment in which all employees are respected, valued and enabled to reach their full potential
• Acquire and act upon employee feedback to continuously evolve the Tory Burch culture and work environment
• Facilitate talent management processes (year-end, mid-year, goals cascades, talent calibrations, culture survey, comp reviews, etc.) and coach client groups on how to evaluate, motivate and effectively lead talent
• Evaluate, recommend and support delivery of talent development initiatives
• Assist in managing on and off boarding process for retail field management team members
• Assist VP of Talent and team on ad hoc projects and initiatives as required

EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Retail HR required
• Well-rounded in the areas of talent management, recruitment, employee relations, and organizational design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels both internally and externally (encompasses verbal, written, listening)
• Commercial judgment, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to make timely proactive decisions to propel the business forward
• Ability to influence and inspire confidence
• Demonstrated ability to manage, deescalate, and resolve employee relations issues
• A bachelor's degree or requisite experience
• Travel required approximately 40 -50% to Stores in region
• Experienced with Microsoft Office/Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
