SKIMS is a solutions-oriented brand creating the future of underwear, shapewear and loungewear.

 

We’re disrupting the industry with our game-changing product and culturally driven creative, and are looking for a Brand Copywriter to join us in building the next generation of intimates.

 

 

THIS IS A LOS ANGELES BASED ROLE

 

The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling and creating short form narratives

that drive clear messaging and stand apart. As the voice of the brand, this role

requires a keen eye for meticulous detail that results in the highest quality creative.

 

Role Overview:

 

Reporting to our SVP of Marketing, the Brand Copywriter will build

storytelling around our collections, as well as lead the charge for all branded copy. Projects include but are not limited to marketing emails, social media content, product drop storytelling and packaging.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Understand, develop and enhance SKIMS tone of voice to be used across

all branded assets

 

Collaborate with creative team and cross functional partners on a variety

of assets, keeping the business strategy top of mind

 

Responsible for writing in all mediums including social copy, marketing

emails, brand guidelines, manifestos and video scripts.

 

Manage and develop brand voice for SKIMS and ensure it is consistent

across all platforms

 

Showcase a strong social media IQ with a deep understanding of

audience behaviors and writing style’s across Instagram, Facebook,

Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter, etc.

 

Participate in brainstorming and idea-generating sessions.

 

Support the creation of our brand identity and our audience.

Contribute to new product launches, deck creation and internal

collaboration.

 

MUST HAVES

 

A minimum of 5 years experience copywriting at a brand or creative

agency

 

Outstanding grammar and writing skills

 

An inherent interest in and connection to popular culture

 

A passion for storytelling, a master of the English language, and the

ability to tailor writing to communicate different messages

 

An excellent work ethic with the ability to work autonomously and as part

of a team

 

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Apps and Keynote.
